The song with only a guitarist and two people singing onscreen... has drums in it?? Somehow?

The "when's the last time you had sex?" question caught me so off guard, because this feels like a children's movie and to have a line that blatantly pg-13 is baffling.

I absolutely love the scene were Matt is walking around the post office, dressed like 2005 Green Day, with full confidence and talking to everyone and getting like congratulated, all bc he got kissed. He’s like a 5th grader
  • I find it hysterical that at 27:00 when Kristi’s dad is revealed, she says that she can’t make it home for Christmas and he laughs in her face 💀

I love when you watch a movie and you can tell the director said to the black actor something like “could ya black it up a little?”

If I asked my girlfriend when I would get to meet the family and she responded "Sometimes family is closer than you think" I would immediately assume she was my cousin or something.

My conspiracy theory is that Heather was originally written as the main guy's sister, but then the writers remembered that his sister was supposed to be dead, so they quickly rewrote her to pass her off as his weirdly affectionate friend 😂
  • hey little stinkers. i watched the movie yesterday and am devastated to tell you that “i don’t have feelings for kristi north” does indeed come back at a key part of the plot. i think that scene must have been cut from the dvd version. just felt the need to get this off my chest.

Idk if anyone else noticed this but the little girl mentioned in the letter at the beginning of the movie that her parents "went to heaven", but she asked the uncle "where did mommy and daddy go?" So uh
  • @mrmuffins951
Lets not forget about how the little girl asks "where did mommy and daddy go" even tho her letter to santa said "mommy and daddy went to heaven"
  • I lowkey love the evil boss. He's just so blatantly rude but also very oblivious.

Years later I still can't tell if Heather is a decent actress or if everyone else's acting just makes her look really good
  • @jwwalt
The 2.5 million went into the sprinkle effects 100%

16:30 Drew is like “that kid is like 15…” “…I’m so proud of our almost adult child” I was 15 when this video and hearing that made me freak the fuck out cause it made me realize that in 5 years I would be 20 and that’s basically an adult I am in fact 20 now and can confirm, I am scared
  • "heeEYY DOGGY!" is something I quote in my day to day life, and laugh to myself because no one else understands it but me.

2 million of those budget dollars went to the CGI sprinkles.

Why is no one talking about how Christy's job is literally temporary like she'll be gone December 26th so why does the boss care so much?

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching the Drew Christmas mail video, which is his and Amanda's favorite Christmas movie
