  • @AvaB--
To be honest, the premature "it's time for dinner" line was the most realistic part of this whole movie.
  • 16:30 Drew is like “that kid is like 15…” “…I’m so proud of our almost adult child” I was 15 when this video and hearing that made me freak the fuck out cause it made me realize that in 5 years I would be 20 and that’s basically an adult I am in fact 20 now and can confirm, I am scared
  • I lowkey love the evil boss. He's just so blatantly rude but also very oblivious.
  • @donk3yb0y
The "when's the last time you had sex?" question caught me so off guard, because this feels like a children's movie and to have a line that blatantly pg-13 is baffling.
  • Imagine being so desperate for love, your niece who's like seven even notices, and then asks Santa to get you a girlfriend lmao

My conspiracy theory is that Heather was originally written as the main guy's sister, but then the writers remembered that his sister was supposed to be dead, so they quickly rewrote her to pass her off as his weirdly affectionate friend 😂
  • I absolutely love the scene were Matt is walking around the post office, dressed like 2005 Green Day, with full confidence and talking to everyone and getting like congratulated, all bc he got kissed. He’s like a 5th grader
  • The song with only a guitarist and two people singing onscreen... has drums in it?? Somehow?
  • Plotwist: The boss is actually in love with Matt and that's why he hates Christi so he's trying to come up with a fake excuse to take her down
  • I find it hysterical that at 27:00 when Kristi’s dad is revealed, she says that she can’t make it home for Christmas and he laughs in her face 💀
  • Nothing against the kid who played Emily but the constant wide eyes and emotionless smile just gives off the most uncanny feeling and I genuinely don't know why
  • Why is no one talking about how Christy's job is literally temporary like she'll be gone December 26th so why does the boss care so much?
  • I love how the black woman is basically just there to be a sassy black woman. The main character’s female band-mate is just there to temporarily look like his wife for one scene. Despite wearing glasses, the main female lead apparently doesn’t need them at all.
  • Years later I still can't tell if Heather is a decent actress or if everyone else's acting just makes her look really good
  • My favorite Christmas tradition is watching the Drew Christmas mail video, which is his and Amanda's favorite Christmas movie
  • If I asked my girlfriend when I would get to meet the family and she responded "Sometimes family is closer than you think" I would immediately assume she was my cousin or something.
  • i love how the captions describe matt’s niece’s voice as a “little white girl voice”
