  • When you live with a genetic condition like Alpha 1 you absolutely know how important the liver is in your overall health and mortality. Until it's identified in your family no doctor takes you seriously or can identify the cause of the multiple diverse signs and symptoms you present with. My eldest brother died of Leukaemia at 9, my geat grandmother of gangrene from untreated diabetes, my grandmother of liver disease, my mother had Emphysema, Kidney tumours and strokes, my youngest brother had Pancreatitis at 27, dying of Amyloidosis at 54. We didn't know about this condition until my niece's son had to have a liver transplant shortly after birth. With over 500 processes in the body the liver is the reason you live well or die badly. Dr Cywes, please keep on focusing on the liver, and people, listen to him and love your liver today and every day.

Thank you for not making these so long. I appreciate it under 30 minutes. Great presentation!
  • @vickiclark1998
🤯🤯 Absolutely brilliant. Watching you has really solidified my carnivore journey into place and understanding. I find myself anxious for instant results. Of course! I was so over being overweight, sad, tired, aching, and listless. My journey and goal is to heal my liver and love my liver. Everything else will fall into place and all will be well. Thank you. I share your videos and I furiously take notes while you are lecturing! It's like being in school again! I need to be on your Patreon page! Thank you!

I like how Dr Cyves talks like we're 2nd year med students. I don't like having to rewind the video 3 times to absorb it all.

About 3 months ago, I started the Carnivore Lifestyle and today I'm 63. 3 months ago I was at 257 and today at 222...During this change I had a stroke. But, I dodged the bullet this time. Why because a little over two years ago I had pneumonia real bad and ended with congestive heart failure. I recovered and got active again and the Stroke...What I got from the stroke was a slurred voice, that is coming back. I have video's on my progress. I think the carnivore life has saved my life...I've been listening to you just recently and I am amazed at the Information. Every day I feel younger just for losing 35 pounds and great info...Thanks, Doc...
  • Dr Cywes, you blew this up. Its chock full of info and, honestly, wonderfully done. Thank you, sir.

Most of this is a bit over my head, but I do know that liver health is important. Thankfully, my ALT has gone from 45 down to 13 from low carb lifestyle alone, no drugs at all.
  • @ReeImagined
This is awesome. I'm low carb, haven't gotten rid of insulin resistance yet, but I have HBP and my iron is low (not certified anemic, but my hemoglobin is low, even after taking iron). I started working on my liver two months ago. Now I know the reasons why I'm not healthy as I should be. And I know what to do about it. It was placed in my records that I have a fatty liver after an abdominal scan, but no one was talking about it. No one seems interested in NAFLD.
  • @marysalegui6527
I've told my family and friends for years that my favorite organ was the liver. It does almost everything. So I am so pleased to keep learning about new and wonderful things the liver is capable of doing. Fix the liver was my motto. Thank you for this valuable information.
  • @markujcich4245
A very complicated subject but nicely explained. All new to me. I saw your notification and was pleasantly surprised you gave us another video this week. God bless and thank you 🖖
  • @lautburns4829
Damn, I love these lectures. I’ve got enough info now so I can study all month! Thanks again.👍✋🏻
  • @ronaldjones996
Wish I had some lectures like this in medical school. Although some of this wasn’t known and now some info isn’t even covered!
  • @Max-cd8fm
Needed this !!! Been on the research of this
  • @HzFvr
    Thank you Doctor 👍
