After 25 years on statins my father was like a zombie and could barely walk. Doc said it was "absolutely necessary" to keep taking them to prevent heart attack or stroke. I asked the doc why the Lipitor warning label says their product does not prevent heart disease or heart attacks to which he had no answer. Stopped taking statins 6 months ago and he has gotten strength in his legs back and regained memory. Statins are poison. Your body needs cholesterol.

I quit rosuvastatin after listening to Dr Berry. And I'm so glad that I did. My wife, at the time, demanded that I take it, as well as my PCP and I did at their very strong persistency. My PCP gave me this long spill about how he was required to tell my insurance company of my refusal when I stopped. Oh well....insurance and big pharma are not going to control my life. ONLY God and myself will determine that!

I am 68 years female and started taking statins at age of 64 . I had terrible side affects while taking statins, continued bladder infection, foggy memory, muscle pains , my glucose level went up. I was taking so many antibiotics l, medicine for pre diabetes, and bunch of other meds .I felt terrible and stopped taking them all. It was awful couple of years and I thought that is part of aging . I stopped taking them against my doctors advice . Now I watch my carbs and sugar intake , walk a lot and take no meds. I feel fantastic, have a lots of energy. For me all health issue disappeared after I stopped taking statins . It took a while tifeel better. I think few months , and almost a year for all of the symptoms to be completely gone .

Carnivore 10weeks, 63yo Australian male. Kicked initially my statins to the curb, then all the other heart meds. Lost 32lbs, exercising, never felt this good. Also, my arthritis and depression are gone, among others on a long list of benefits.

A Korean study that was done several years looked at 1 million people who had died and simply recorded from their charts prior to death their total cholesterol and LDL levels. The people who lived the longest had a total cholesterol of 240 and a LDL of 130.

My mom was on Lipitor for decades. At 86 she finally listened to her kids and stopped. She seems mentally sharper, and her severe hand tremors went away after about 2 months.

I have familial high cholesterol and my Dr keeps pushing me to take statins. I keep pushing back.

I stopped taking statins 3 years ago. I still have nerve and muscle damage after taking Crestor for 14 years. I would not have stayed on them for 14 years had my GP not numbed me out by prescribing an antidepressant. I have concluded that today's corporate for profit medical system does more harm than good.

My PCP keeps trying to force statins on me but I refuse. She got upset and told me I was being non-compliant. I found a new PCP. Thank you for your highly informative and inspirational videos.

I stopped taking atorvastatin five days ago, my shoulder pain vanished.thanks a lot for the advice, doc.
  • My ancestors lived long lives without statin drugs. My doctor tried pushing it on me at age 58 but I refused. I’m 62 now and my numbers are still normal.

I have a stent from one total blockage of LLD. My doctor had me on stains for several years. It caused blood sugar issues to worsen and head fog. I stopped all stains after trying 3 different kinds. Doctor is not happy with me. I asked two of my doctors that if elevated BS and Cholesterol are so bad for 50 years then why only one artery and not all. They both said we do not know. I am eating Keto/Carnivore and trusting God to keep me going.

A large study said the death and heart attack rate was not decreased by taking stains. However, cancer did increase in the those in the study.

I stopped taking Lipitor August last year and I feel much better Statins can damage liver due to stopping cholesterol production. Cholesterol is needed for ALL organs as well as muscles, and hormones including testosterone and vitamin D

I've been prescribed a statin for cholesterol issues before. I added red beans and rice to my diet, just keep a small crock pot going or in the fridge and have a bowl or two a day (best for evening meal). Super cheap, super easy to cook, super healthy, and fixed the bloodwork (soluble fiber absorbs cholesterol). Your body will adjust to the extra fiber after a few days.
  • @TCAPRecipes
I'm all set. I'll stay away from the statins.
