Creating an Awesome Packaging Design for a unique set of Spices!

My Assets are from Adobe Stock ► First Month FREE: bit.ly/AdobeStockTrial

The Process
---------------------
Choosing proper typography and then customizing fonts is where we’ll start off. Each package will have its own unique brand identity (color palettes, fonts, style), but all of them will fit under a similar visual design language. Then, we’ll create custom illustrations for each of the labels. Finally, we’ll look at the layout design to give our information proper hierarchy and contrast for each package.

I’ll be using Adobe Photoshop 2023 for the entire process.

I don't think I can name even one spice brand off the top of my head, but with this packaging I would instantly reconize the brand, and remember it! Really shows what good branding can do.

I've never binge-watched a YouTube channel before, but I'm so captivated by your talent that I can't stop watching your videos.

Something I'm thinking about between the 3 designs is that the Red Pepper now feels slightly out of place with the others, as its packaging represents a desert with largely no relation other than heat, whereas the other two are representative of whats inside the jar. Would be cool if the other two followed that same identity, but all in all still a great design!
  • This is a great day for YouTube!

It’s insane how tiny details make a huge difference. Just adding the shadows of the text on the sand made it look 100x better

I love the fact you re-adopted this video style ! Simple, but very friendly and personal with soft music in the background. It's a pleasure to follow all the way throughout till the very end with no effort. Design on point as usual! Keep it up man, we missed you!

Brandon, I am so excited that you are back! You are one of the main people that inspired me to learn logo design. I am really looking forward to what you have coming up, especially the Design Courses. Welcome back!

at the start I wasn't sure about the design choices, but they ended up being some of my favourite finished designs i've seen on this channel, your work is amazing and you're so criminally underrated
  • @billskille
I love this. Cuz it ties all the different flavors together and you could instantly see that they were made by the same person
  • It's great you came back! You're one of the most creative and inventive designers I follow.

Ah, I love that you've brought back this style of video. I absolutely love how amazing the quality of your animated ones are, but this style feels more personal somehow. Could just be me ㅋㅋ I'm glad you're back and I'm looking forward to more!

I love the design of these. I honestly wish you would make, like, a longer video where you would design a lot more spices for Spice Shack.
  • @SarcolKent
I like how authentic this video and your channel is, in general. In designing process, there are times that we realize that we are not doing any good in our design and we need to go back, reassess and improve it - just like what you did in the red pepper. I personally find it exhausting and I feel like I'm ruining my design... but once I became able to find the right stuff for my design it is very satisfying.
  • @skitterly
I love how different each design is. It would make it so much easier to find what I need in my cluttered spice cabinet
  • The imperfection of the letters makes it feel so much better, these designs look awesome!
  • @uziraptor5122
i love how honest you are with your design process, it’s nice to show that starting over is okay and sometimes you won’t be happy with what you invested time into, but it’s okay because it just encourages you to try something else! these look great :)
