I feel like you and my wife are in cahoots to ruin my life. Given a choice of only being able to eat one type of food for the rest of my life I would pick fruit every time. She has me mostly carnivore now to fix my blood pressure and weight. This video was the final nail in the coffin of my happiness of ever eating large amounts of fruit again. All kidding aside, you guys have helped save my life. Thanks

After gastric surgery, my doctor told me only eat fruit that ends in "berry"!!

Thank you so much for talking about correlation/causation! There is way to much confusion between the two and leads to people making some inaccurate conclusions. Great video, doc!

WOW! Thank You! Since my father's recent passing of diabetes I've been working at focusing on making sure I have my health together. The reality for myself is that I'm allergic to so much that I have to pay attention to what I'm eating. You have been great help for me, and those that I mention this to. 👍🏼❤️
  • Just came off a 48hr fast, next meal in 23 hrs. I use these videos to strengthen my conviction and hope to keep going at it.

Fruits are one the sneakiest foods out there. I ate 5 -6 servings on a daily basis all my life. Started a low-carb diet over 2 years ago and funny enough I didn't suffer from scurvy. On the contrary, every aspect of my health got better. So a few months ago I decided to add fruits again on a daily basis, not donuts just fruits within 2 - 3months Many of the symptoms I had before low carb started to come back i.e. weight gain, swollen bleeding gums, heartburn. etc. Went off the fruits and the symptoms disappeared again Dr. Berry is 100% correct on this one. Life experience is much more compelling than something written in a medical journal.

Hi DR Berry, I’m such a sceptic when it comes to diets. I’ve been sick with autoimmune disease for a couple years. I have every system you talk about. Scleritis , uveitis , in the eye is about to get the best of me. However I have started the carnivore diet and can’t believe the changes I’m see already. Thank you and keep doing the research and videos.
  • By eliminating, ALL sugars and carbohydrates from my diet not only I have lost weight but bloating & gas pain are gone and have had several physical changes for the better: Tooth sensitivity has improved; joint pain, back pain etc is almost non existing; circulation is better; mood is better; body odor is non-existing; skin appearance is great; and much more....

I watched one of your vids cautioning us about fruit sugar. So I’m limiting my fruit intake to about a handful of berries a day. Checked my my blood sugar # yesterday and it was down to 109. The lowest I could get was 119 but it always seemed to hover around in the 130s. And yes! I was eating 2 gigs a day. No more naners either. And an apple or orange when I’m on the road! And that’s it! Thank you Dr Berry!

Thanks again Doc. I asked a question in your video on fiber and then here in lies the answer the my dumb question. God has definitely used you to change my life and the lives of many others. I am honored to be a year round Patreon member.
  • @maureengreen617
Could you do a video with the recommended food substitutes that have the nutrients you mentioned in the fruits but without the sugar?
  • @IvanTheNormal
I have been carnivore for 56 days now. I bought some strawberries today. Let me just say.... The first bite was just euphoric!! 🤤😆😋 I had 3 of them, and I'll finish the batch through the week. Oh my God that sugar is just splendid after eating meat, fish, and eggs every day lol
  • Thank you, Thank you Dr. I started keto & intermittent fasting one month ago. I scaled down the first two weeks by making the mistake of using my husband's protein powder Kachava. I found out it had the sugars and grains I had to avoid. After I stop using the powder and watching your videos I followed all the dos and don'ts of Keto. After being 150lbs. 5,0 tall age 45 I dropped 20 lbs on my first month. I am a runner and i have tried Vegan in my 30s and worked. Yet I hit 40s and gained weight no matter how m7ch running or working out I tried. I felt pain everyday and thought this is it, is this what it's like after 40? Now I have no pain nor swelling after running or working out. Again thank you for the valuable information you and many other Dr's. You have shown in your videos privide.
