When it comes to the choice of Werewolf or Vampire, I always am for the werewolf. Vampires are still cool in my book, but I've always been a wolf/werewolf lover from the get go. Was really happy to see this video from you! It made my night after several long days of being down in general. Thank you for sharing this, and please keep up the good work!

I’m barely 5 minutes into the video and I had a thought: we fear werewolves not because they are a beast but they are a beast with the thoughts of man. That by itself is truly terrifying considering the long history man has had in death and destruction.
  • Werewolves have always captured my interest since I was a kid who loved Halloween as a special holiday, and I still love it as a teenager now. Btw, I love your content man. Keep up the work 👍

Another thing that makes the werewolf intriguing over any other monster; the sound of a wolf's howl and the vision of a full moon is awesome and neither imagery gets old.

I may have broken a mouse button clicking on this video so hard. WEREWOLVES FTW
  • Tales of werewolves had been around for thousands of years since our ancient ancestors were told, like the Native Americans, Indo-European,Celts,and many other cultures and traditions told about it, i myself am a werewolf lover too. It really fascinated me since I was a kid,now that I'm an adult,i still love it.

I always felt drawn toward to and fascinated by werewolves and were-creatures in general. The Red Riding Hood part never occurred to me as a werewolf story until now, but it makes sense. It got me thinking of another possible werewolf. Could the wolf from Norse mythology whose destined to kill Odin, Fenrir, be a werewolf?
  • The werewolf is my absolute favorite mythical creature of all time i have seen all the wolf man movies, Underworld, Teen wolf movie and the cartoon and etc the werewolf is so awesome
  • Pale moonlight, barely breaking through the clouds A creature wanders restlessly through the darkness Stepping firmly, never dropping its pace Its entire body honed to perfection Finally, the clouds split apart and the moon reveals itself Silver light illuminates the land and the mountains It dances, it runs, it trembles with unbrindled power And with an entranced roar, it shows its true form

In my opinion, werewolves are cooler than vampires. At least you’d be able to live a relatively normal life and you wouldn’t be undead, and you’d only need to isolate yourself in the wilderness for full moon nights. Unless the transformation was purely voluntary and not against your will though.
  • The first book I ever read was White Fang by Jack London and the wolf has been my favorite animal since. The first story I ever read about a werewolf was Reflections for the Winter of my Soul by Karl Edward Wagner and I have loved the Lycanthropes ever since even after it lost the fight with the murderous Kane! I highly recommended reading it if you never have. A brilliant conflict that describes what unchecked fear does to ones psyche when faced against nightmarish viciousness! Lycanthropes are, paws down, the ultimate in my book!
  • “Unlike ghosts, vampires or zombies” But werewolves look like humans most of the time as well. It’s only during the full moon that they don’t

In Book of the Werewolf by Brian J. Frost, he alludes in the prologue that dead werewolves become vampires. Stoker's own tale alludes to that idea as well, with Dracula changing back to his original supernatural shape to sexually assault Lucy. Other than that omission, a solid abbreviated compendium of werewolf lore. Much enjoyed. Thanks.

There's also werewolf related mythology in South America (Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay). Called lobizón, brought by iberian immigrants (from galician lobishome lit: wolf-man). But instead of a wolf, is a person transforming into a black canine entity that feeds on corpses in the cemetery.
  • The torture and pain of the physical transformation, the psychological terror of subconsciously knowing that you may have done something wrong but can't remember it bc it's just out of reach in your mind, the tortured souls of werewolves is intriguing and sad. One of my scariest nightmares was of me turning into a werewolf, the fear of losing control and harming others. I think this is also what makes werewolves intriguing, man's fear of losing control over their lives/situations.
  • “I’ll be writing a novel based on a werewolf faction in modern America, with a dark secret that threatens to destroy humanity by making the entire population into wolf like beasts.” So I’m getting as much information as I can, YouTube & Google about Werewolves & this is by far the greatest content I’ve ever laid my eyes on, on YouTube. Keep up the good work. & I’ve just subscribed to your channel 😁

While there has been a lot of work made about werewolves I feel like they don't get as much attention as zombies, ghosts, or vampires, and I wish they would. But out of said works, one of my favorite is the comic Wolf Moon, which gives a fresh look at the beast :)
  • As an animal person I love werewolf stories/legends.Thanks for posting this😊
