This series will cover all classic Doom demons, examining their original forms and their more recent iterations. These videos take longer to produce, so I will be releasing them in parts, eventually compiling them into one hour-long video. Hope you like it!

Did I just randomly discover a freshly spawned, high quality channel? Subscribed.

My theory: the arachnotrons aren't the baby vereion of the spider mastermind but rather the male counterpart of her Spiders irl the males are smaller

How dare you come out of nowhere and punch my balls off with this fantastic channel. Who even are you, sir? You're the guy I'm now subscribed to.
  • 11:52 Kenneth Scott confirmed by his tweets that baron of hell was supposed to be in doom 3 and this is the cut creature the community calls bird man.

The first 30 seconds of this video made me convinced that you are an up and coming artist. I will subscribe and watch your content grow.

Fun facts about theses demons: -leftover code suggest that the Doom 3 Archvile was going to ressurect demons instead of summoning them. This was canned when the death animation for npcs were replaced with insta-burning ragdolls. -The photo of a sculpted model of an unused female demon for Doom 64 was comfirmed by the original artist to have been the Archvile. He even depicted the beast as having hair wich isn't present on the model. The Barons of Hell were originally going to be introduced in Doom 3 as four bosses wich we would have had to defeat in order to obtain the soul cube. The book called "The making of Doom 3" explains that we would have originally traveled trought four hell levels instead of just one (said level is actually called hell01 in the game files.) The book explains that each Baron would have had different shaped horns and each guarded a peace of the soul cube. This was canned and replaced by the Guardian for unkown reasons.

  • @ShadesMan
The timing of this video is on point!
  • @Th3Nexus
When's the next Blood lore video?
  • @icepic21
The sketchbook style introductions immediately remind me of Clem's notebook on the monsters in The Suffering. I love it. Coupled with your David Attenbough-esque commentary, these vids are Gordon Ramsay Tier Chef's Kiss Peak Fiction!
  • You have made one of my favorite channels on youtube, you rival the guys that make lore videos for Battletech. BTW the summoner is a female arch-vile iirc from 2016 that they are also imps that are fully grown. Also will you ever do the rest of the Blood references videos?
  • By the way, fun fact according to strings of doom 2016 closed alpha apollyon was supposed to appear but not as a type of archvile/summoner like in doom rpg, but as one of two olivia Pierce's Guards the second was called abbadon, they were eventually reworked into hell guards, they can be seen on concept arts and in the 2nd part of the old noclip doom documentary using hell knight Models as placeholder, olivia's guard model but without textures there are in the files of the final game, also the textures of the hell guard model that used in the game are called olivia's guard.

This is absurdly well done, subbed for more
  • 4:08 The doom fandom has created a similar monster in the 'Arachnorb'. Most notably featured in the mapset 'Valiant'. Interesting...
  • @aljo005
Very well made and educational. Keep up the great work cant wait to see more!
  • What a fantastic video! Glad to see the doom community is still going strong.
