It's a cool little ship that has a considerable fan following. I don't really do anything with mine other than the odd box delivery mission but I hold out hope that they revisit the chassis and make a different kind of ship out of it. Maybe a little lab in back to make a science ship out of it or an ambulance/search and rescue focus could be cool.

Based! 150 dollars Max! Bro i cant wait until you get to the MSR. That scanner room should be the server room, and the components should be in the tunnels in strategic areas with the proper circuit breakers. That engineering room should be another smuggler spot... while the scanning dish seat removed entirely and give scanning to the co-pilot or as a station in the cock pit. There is so much wasted space in the MSR that its ridiculous. The MSR needs a Second Exit too CiG!!! You promised!

100% agree on the needed improvements to this. Remove the stupid chair and have a standing station on the side, where there is already a console. Add a cargo grid and more complete kitchen/living setup. Increase SCM speed and weapon size (4 x 2S missiles would be great too). I would be very happy with it then. This was the 2nd ship that I purchased when I found out about this game years ago and I still love it, but it could be modernized to keep up with the current state of the game.

I'd love to see it launch a scanning drone, as a kind of starter to learn drone skills before using the upscale ones on the Carrack or the Reclaimer.

I have an illogical love for the Terrapin. Everything you said is true. It’s badly overpriced and has some glaring holes and bugs (e.g., the door has stranded me on multiple occasions). But, I bought one on pledge and I can’t see myself ever melting it. Please CIG, give it some more speed, give it some additional utility beyond just scanning. It would be a great small drop ship if it had 4 additional seats. A medical variant would also make sense as others have said.

Terrapin Diamondback Gunship, cannon turtle would be sweet. You could choose between a huge gun or a turret for alternate utility.

I really think this ship would suit a ranger bike variant built into the far wall as you walk in. Actuvate it and it pops out and spins to face the ramp so you can do some ground recon. Get rid of the centre chair and put some SCU plates either side of the pilot walkway

I love the design of the Terrapin, sooo wish they would make a useful variant of it.

Maybe this will see more use when exploration is fleshed out. The vtol will be super useful exploring alien worlds

This little tortoise is too cool. Buy one with credits. I want a medivac variant with a port in the floor and a dropship variant with a second door and second belly turret. I'd buy a terrapin fleet.

The Terrapin is my favorite ship. Now if they would just get rid of that stupid seat in the middle, it would be perfect. It does need some help. I like your recommendations for the ship. Replacing the scanning seat with a small cargo grid or drop seats would be fantastic. It'd be a great medivac too. Drop into a hotzone, swoop up the injured, take off under fire, no problem. I use it as my daily driver even with that stupid scanning seat. It has enough room to hold cargo, but that seat, man... I know I'm repeating myself, but that seat really holds the ship back. I know it's probably balance considerations, they want such a small ship with such a good scanner to have some weakness, but for $220, I think they can afford to let the pilot use the scanner from the pilot seat...

My cutter scout will be CCUed into this, only if I can work a nice chain on it.

I'd love the Terp if they'd trade the stupid useless chair in the middle for a little storage. Just a few SCU or space for a quad. That would make it so much more useful.
