How to get into the construction union NYC
Building works actually works directly with the carpenters union and Grant you a real back door entry, they also help with other trades aside from the carpenters they got my brother into the electricians union (local 3)

Constructions Skills was the program that got me into the Carpenters union but it's mainly for young people 21 & under (even though they do have a program for people older than 21)

Trippy how 'fire' makes skyscrapers (welding, concrete atomic activity, manufacturing, etc..) but when the "fires" began to fade in the WTC Buildings the steel & aluminum started to do it's own bending and straightening and the buildings came down. They could throw big jets at them . . . but a lack of heat is what brought them down.

I would say the best trade is elevator mechanic especially the ones that go job to job and make basic repairs. Its clean and no assbreaking work, tit job. You got to let them know about layoffs and furloughs.. Every trade i know has layoffs especially when you get to Journeyman status.

Two other pre-apprenticeship in NYC are P2A (Pathways 2 Apprenticeships) & NEW for woman. I start P2A this week, my main three trade choices are carpentry, plumbing, or electrical. I’m glad I starting out at 25 years old
