    This is more the reason that this and or other similar jobs as such should increase the wage. This is a very dangerous line of work, truly SAFETY's not in your best interest for the engineers I call them TC ENGINEERS, And or us rather then employees for the simple fact that we engineer and navigate traffic through dangers Territory.

    There should be a clear path to upgrade from being a flagger and become a professional tradesman. In nyc above 90% flaggers are black men which is just a game to say you provide diversity in employment.

    common sense always be alert good communication skills know construction operations, asphalt, concrete, bulldozers, backhoe,dump trucks,concrete truck,double rigs, knowing what type of operation you will be on top of your game and the company easily get more contracts

    If you're a instructor you should keep it realistic and lite but sensible and professional I am a DOT FLAGGER AND CREW FOREMAN ,SAFETY OFFICER I TAUGHT ENOUGH CREWS .
