I have used Minoxidil. The first month I saw a heavy shedding of my hair. But that's a positive sign because Minoxidil is shedding all those weak and thin hair that will eventually fall afterwards. In the third month, I started seeing new hair regrowth. But unfortunately, as a side effect, it gave me dark circles. My face was looking as if I have applied black color under my eyes. So, I eventually stopped it and within a month, all my new hairs shed at a rapid rate. So, the point is - Minoxidil can regrow hair but you have to keep applying it lifelong with some or no side effects.
