To stop my hair fall, I began using a soft silk pillow case to sleep on. I also used liitleextraa cocoonniion hair oil shampoo duo. These changes helped me lose less hair. After a couple of months of applying them daily, my hair stopped falling out totally.

Been losing hair tremendously for nearly three years! šŸ˜ My derm thinks itā€™s TE but itā€™s not stopping. Iā€™m often Omg crying over how thin my hair has become. Why wonā€™t it stop omg šŸ˜©
  • @delancey3181
    Iā€™ve had this since 2018 hasnā€™t stopped
  • Thank you so much. I was hospitalized 3 months ago, I had beautiful hair. I lost a lot of blood and weight. My hair starting falling about 3 weeks ago and I'm already about 60 percent loss. Which is massive. But, I'm almost positive it's telgen effluviam, because I'm a nurse. But I do still have an appt to make sure. I have started minoxidil on my own, so I'm glad this is a safe thing to try. Thank you again. It's kind of you to give this information for free.

Loving the series so far. I loss my mom Thanksgiving day. The stress made my hair fell out and shed. Currently in month 2. Add in menopause , and not eating as much. Sucks. Currently taking zinc, pumpkin seed and saw palmetto for supplement. Using Nizoral 2 times a month. Deep Conditioner 2wice a month. I rub a bit of rosemary oil every other day. Well keep fingers crossed. Deep dive menopausal skin dryness

The untangled supplement contains iron and zinc which are both minerals that shouldnā€™t be combined so this is not a great supplement unfortunately. Itā€™s best to take both these minerals separately for optimal absorption
  • This is an informative video and confirms all the research I've been able to find. I have Chronic TE. I don't always know when I'm stressed. But I've realized if I'm consistently taking Sensoril Ashwagandha, I experience less shedding during an episode. I want to speed up the process- how would I know if taking oral minoxidil will cause further massive hair loss? Is this true of everyone who uses it? Is there any scientific proof applying melatonin to the scalp helps in treating TE? Thank you tremendously for the vitamin suggestion. I am going to give it a try. You seem like a phenomenal physician!

I would love more information on hair loss related to PCOS, other than making sure your iron levels are healthy

Will definitely give Untangled a try as its profile has all the essentials and, as a 2 month supply, is significantly less expensive than Nutrafol. Thank you for the suggestion.

Iā€™ve always read it is 2 to 3 months post trigger, but if it is indeed up to 6 months post trigger, then it makes sense in my case. I have been trying to figure it out my cause, but you are the first to say six months.
  • Make more videos. I had alopecia areata and lost a tremendous amount of hair for like 6 months. I chose no treatment (the dermatologist I went to was trying to grow hair on the egg) and eventually my hair grew back. And I lost 3/4 of my hair. Hairs grew back and I didnā€™t notice it at all, baby fine, it is not like stubble. And I became very educated on alopecia. My mother started to lose her hair after a surgery and traumatic sickness. She is feeling desperate like I did and I feel like me learning about all hair loss is helpful. I am hoping I am right that she has telegon effluvium.

What?!? šŸ˜³ Retinoids??? Now I've added one more potential reasonšŸ˜ I know I have to see a doctor, but in the meantime, I'm on a verge of a mental breakdown. It happened so quickly. It's better to keep watching your video and stop trying to make myself feel worse. šŸ˜Š
