This game needs a "Match speed" that would set your "zero" to be relative to whatever speed and direction the ship you match is currently at. That way you would only be making minor adjustments for a rendezvous. Would certainly be MUCH better for getting in that hanger in the middle of a firefight for repairs.

The obvious thing to do was put the Pisces into decoupled mode and match the forward speed of the Carrack. Thereafter it would have been a straightforward landing. Nice vid, love the emergency lighting inside the Carrack when under attack
