Just a suggestion, when you get a guy this smart on your show, let him talk. I couldnt watch more than 10 mins of this due to the guest being interrupted, sometimes at key moments.
  • Hey Layne, I’m a big fan of both your work and Dom’s. I got the chance to meet Dom a few years back at a Tampa ISSN conference where he presented on keto. After hearing those lectures, I decided to go keto while running your PH3 program. I gained lean mass, lost tons of body fat, increased strength and actually increased my daily caloric intake by 400 calories. We tested body composition using my university’s body pod. Keto may not work for all but can be a useful too for some. Thanks for sharing this!

Always amazed by D'Agostino's humility. Seen him in many situations but always suppresses his pride and gives way to a humble way of imparting information.

Dude!! The knuckles!! Chewing nails!! Interruption!!

Thanks Layne for the interview with Dom! Thank you both for a great discussion with lots of valuable information. Very interesting and much appreciated!

I'm here for Dom. Don't want to be disrespectful but this other guy with the hat is so annoying interrupting Dom all the time.
  • Props to you Coach for showing that you are seriously open minded to all science based approaches and bringing in people who help educate. I lean toward ketogenic due to the fact I can adhere better. Caloric restriction had helped. Keep it up
  • I struggled with the keto diet too much, I just felt exhausted. We are supposed to enjoy the food we eat and with keto that's close to impossible. That's why I tried the Agoge diet and it works great.

Hi Layne, I really like your Podcasts, but Timemarks would be great !

A visor in 2017? Bold move Lane.
  • Great video Dr. Norton and Dr. Dom! I thought I knew a lot about Keto but I did learn from this video that the original keto diet consisted of 90% fat! I think this will help educate people more about what keto diets are and what specifically they can be used for.
  • Layne looks so different with glasses on. Great conversation guys!
  • @jamie5mauser
No mention of keto and thyroid? Or catecholamine release creating the feel good feeling?
  • By far the best diet is the Agoge diet because it works great and is easy to follow. Keto is simply harmful and hard to stick with.

This video is freaking epic, being a biology student helped a lot understanding most of the things that were mentioned. BTW, is Prof. Dom Dr. Jacob Wilson's older brother? 😂 Thanks for coming together to make this video!
  • @jschultzf3
I just took some time to learn more about keto, and this is just pure knowledge, right here...Thanks, Layne and Dom!
  • @xelionizer
Thanks! This is very informative! The only appeal I have for future interviews, would be to have better audio;) cheers m8
  • Great podcast Layne, makes it hard for the diet zealots to complain when 2 seemingly different strategists agree on so much...but I'm sure it won't stop them anyway! But I'm with you..I love those carbs man! Greetings from New Zealand
  • Probably the only keto proponent I take seriously, awesome video!
