Doctor Who REACTION 4x5 "The Sontaran Statagem"

I love the fact that Donna and the doctor are just friends, and that Donna and Martha get on well

Donna definitely is a better companion, you see her actual evolve as a character, she's not constantly pining for the doctor meaning they can have more fun playing off each other as friends. The Doctor wasn't always so anti gun in old Who, or at least not so obviously anti gun but it could be a stance he developed from the time war.

Well it drags a bit just like in every other two parters but that is just what you have to expect and embrace.

The Doctor is kinda on the ultimate disarmament stance. It’s the political stance that if everyone just destroyed their weapons and got rid of their militaries then wars that cost millions of lives cease to be and diplomacy, talking and peace become the only path forwards. While that is true, you are correct. Human beings are imperfect and to maintain our societies and communities from the mentally unstable and the violent we do need weaponry. In the Doctor Who universe this is doubly important as races entirely bred for war and destruction exist such as the Cybermen, Daleks, Sontarens etc.

Nice reaction and review of this episode. I'ts not the strongest, but still nice to watch.

I agree with you about the Sontarans but I feel they were just trying to get more classic who villians in the show and think these ones were quite hard to adapt for a modern series.

I'm not into guns or the military but I think this show sometimes goes a little bit overboard with the Anti-violence stuff

I think that is the reason Donna is so popular is, no only because she is awesome, but because she doesn't want The Doctor romantically. I agree this show can sometimes be a little too anti military.

I have to totally agree with the genius, oh, my... life is difficult gig, is overplayed in many shows. That being said... next episode... giddy up. Thanks!
