My First Time Watching Iron Man 2?| MCU REACTION

Rhodey is Tony's best friend, he had a password to the basement with the suits, that's how he got in there so easily.

Don’t forget there are 23+ films. Each character gets their development so don’t worry about that. You have so much still to come I’m jealous I can’t watch it all for the first time again.

Rhodes is a military liason/consultant that works with Tony Stark and has a password to get into Tony's workshop. (Earlier in Iron Man 2 Pepper was seen coming down the stairs and entering the password before entering the workshop.)

Happy is Tony Stark's bodyguard so it is realistic he might have some training (like boxing). The movie was not trying to do any character development for Black Widow and her fight scene was to demonstrate what skills that she has and it was also supposed to be comic relief that Happy defeated one guy with his brawling while Black Widow took down so many more with her martial arts. Black Widow did not take down all of her opponents because she is female, she took all of them down because she is a black ops agent with high level martial arts training focused on a mission versus a hallway of Happy level security guards who were mostly caught by surprise. Black Widow does appear in future Marvel movies and does get appropriate amount of character development later.

I not sure if you knew because I did not see you mention it... Iron Man and Iron Man 2 were directed by Jon Favreau (the actor who plays Happy).

No real spoilers here, because it's not a plot point or anything. Natasha has been trained since childhood as an assassin and spy. You get to see more of her spycraft skillset in later movies.

Black widow doesn’t have any powers in the MCU. In the comics she was given a version of the super serum, but it was less affective than Captain America’s, it slowed her ageing and speeded up her healing. In the MCU she’s a master spy and assassin.

Hey dude, good job with this. Glad to see you're continuing. I don't think this is a better movie than the first but I did when I first watched because I'm a sucker for the character's journey. Rewatching them all, it definitely is worse to me as a MOVIE, but I enjoy the journey. Tony has quite a journey in general. I think you'll have mixed feelings about Thor because of how strong he is. Still predicting you like Captain America the most. Hoping anyway.

This isn't really a movie about Black Widow. She's a spy and she fights. I don't think we need more than what we got.
