Whoever gave the car that color scheme should get fired. It's a disaster.

But no one can be a history & technology teacher as good as Mr Metcalfe. In the days where people just rattle of a fact sheet and statistics, this fine gentleman cares to take the time to explain the history behind it all. Just makes the videos all the more special. Good on you sir. Thank you.

I'm actually surprised at the sound. Way better than expected.

So glad Harry went straight into explaining that livery, because it's horrendous - especially on car this good looking! 14k+ OMG lol Thanks for another great review.

Spec on this car is absolutely ghastly. The car itself is phenomenal. In my humble opinion, this is the best, non-special edition, mid engine, Ferrari since the 430.
  • Having watched all the videos of the 296GTB, I've learned more from this vid than any of the countless others. Truly, bravo Harry.
  • Saving 40 grand has never been an easier decision (if I were fortunate enough ti be speccing this car). But what a car…at first I didn’t appreciate the looks; I thought there were too many retro styling cues. But, now knowing that those elements are also used to enhance the drive…it’s won me over. Great video as ever, thanks.
  • A lovely car, but ruined by the absurdly OTT look and ridiculous spec...in a more subtle spec it is a true great. Brilliant video once again, Harry, you make my Sunday evenings. 😄👍🏻

It seems this and the venerable 812 are the best current Ferraris. This is the first of the turbo/EV Ferraris that I like. The styling is good for once, not too fussily detailed, it has hints of the Dino (Ferrari’s most beautiful road car ever IMO) about it that I like as well. And the engine noise is fantastic! Better than any of Ferrari’s contemporary turbo V8s…and it’s a V6! The best sounding V6 I’ve heard since the Alfa’s of old. Well done Ferrari for adding character to a hybrid! When Ferrari and all other sports car manufacturers have to dump the combustion engine completely, will be a very sad day…the day all cars become drones. Great for a Rolls but not a Ferrari or Lambo.

Love the vids. No nonsense & beating around the bush. Very in depth as well! The proportions of this car is amazing. Makes me overlook the V6 that happens to sound amazing as well..

Excellent camera work from 18.54-19.07 - tracking/panning, going wide, zooming back in - all spot on!

The rear quarter panel, air intake and the profile of the roofline dropping down reminds me of the legendary 250LM.
