Chris Harris gets behind the wheel of the new Ferrari 296 GTB at Anglesey Circuit in Wales. A very scenic backdrop to test Ferrari's latest iteration of the mid-rear-engine product, this time using a plug-in hybrid V6 engine!

We walk-around the car and take it for a few laps of Anglesey to see what Chris makes of it. This particular press-car is finished in a very garish specification.

What do you think of the 296? Is the future of the most passionate supercar manufacturer hybrid / electric?

The combination of red and baby blue is HIDEOUS

Chris Harris yet again proves how brilliant of a car journalist he is, in terms of car world personalities he’s up there with the OG Top Gear trio in my humble opinion.
  • I remeber when we went from the f430 and scuderia to the 458 italia. How that car by its design engine and driving dynamics just seemed light years ahead by comparison. This 296 is giving me those vibes all over again.

Always like reviews on YT by Chris Harris. Just gets the right amount of engagement and enthusiasm from his audience. Even when our budgets can't stretch to the cars he's testing. 👌👌👍

I can't lie.... this channel came out of nowhere and the production quality recently has been unreal, shout out to the videographers and editors that work on these videos, you're doing great.

When I see a Chris Harris video, I click a million times faster than usual. Brilliant video as always!
  • @dylanbland
The Top Gear piece that Chris and co did on this car was one of the most awkward and shallow pieces I’ve ever sat through. This on the other hand - was epic. Chris Harris is as awesome as this car! Thanks for making the video ❤

Can we just take a moment and appreciate Neil's capture of the transition from 5:50 to 6:13? Bravo!
  • @ElvisKremmen
Nothin better on a Sunday morning than watching Chris throw cars around a track, more please.

Actual modern F1 hybrid technology coming down to the entry level is pretty cool
  • @thedimtenuk
Forget the car. Chris’ control is just astonishing and frankly why we all stay glued to his videos. Unbelievable driving skills as always.

Can't wait for Chris to review a GM T50! ❤️

Chris Harris was always top notch to me. He really knows how to push a car to its limits and intelligently explain everything that’s going on with the car. It’s an exciting learning experience watching his videos.

We want more of Chris Harris !!!!! A masterclass on how to drive by Chris Harris

I have grown to love when Chris shuts of the TC and just slides around in some of the wildest cars made.
  • @Snowcatsrt
Love these reviews and the shots are beautiful. Everything from the slow mo to the exterior noises thanks videographer, editor and Chris :)
  • Amazing car no doubt. I can’t remember the last time I came across a performance car being driven properly even on the deserted roads near me in Northumberland, let alone a supercar. With that kind of performance you could ever open it up for more than a few seconds realistically. Even on a track day you would end up stuck behind slower cars every few seconds and you’d need a new pair of rear boots at lunchtime..

Phenomenal video. Chris just seemed completely in sync with the car going sideways and those slo-mo shots were stunning. What a great team. If I had the money I’d be straight down to the Ferrari dealership.
