I feel like it makes sense that a Terrapin would win against just about any solo light fighter. If lights wanna kill it, swarm with 2 or more and it's fucked, or just range it like you said. It feels well balanced imo.

The thing with the Terrapin is, if it's losing a fight, it has enough armor to ignore you while it quantums away.

Great demonstration! Thank you for that. I just UPGRADED my Sabre to a Terrapin at Invictus. I had one before the 3.18 wipe and flew it all time. So I decided to do the upgrade. Favorite daily driver and do it all ship.

Can you still put a size 3 gun in the turret? Back in 3.14, you could put a Panther (or other S3 gun) in the empty turret and you get 251 shots! Give it a go and let us know. It was a TOTALLY different ship with the extra gun. NOTE - You need to get in the turret and turn it on. Then it is available to the pilot. I can see the RED space for it on your HUD, so I"m think it might still work....

If you get in the scanner seat and power it up, the size 3 weapon that shows up is also usable
