  • Liking the longer more in-depth vids. Devon Larratt is extremely invested both spiritually as well as physically. He teaches a solid lesson for us all in that he displays discipline like few others. Nothing false in him either, a very genuine man. I relate to him from his military background, and for me, coming from a PIR(Parachute Infantry Regiment) I understand Devon's approach, his discipline in his day to day, for those of us who share the "warrior spirit" it is considered failure to skip training or to be inactive. We're different than others, we confront fear where most would yield to it, and it really doesn't matter about being in the military, its something in our DNA, we're born with it, and this is certainly not limited to Arm Wrestling.
  • @TheJacali
Great video! I’ve been using a bunch of exercises I’ve learned from Devon to rehab my arm after an ulnar nerve injury. If you look at where the pronator muscle is on the inner elbow it travels right above the ulnar nerve! I’ve been doing lots of other stuff as well but rolling has been absolutely amazing for healing my inner elbow. I did 5lbs for 6 months, then 10lbs for 6 months, now I’ve been using 20lbs for 6 months and not too long ago I did 40lbs for the first time!
  • Thanks PEP, for this amazing content. I hv recently started training for arm wrestling, what i noticed that even though i m stronger in hook, i hv seen toproll technique has a lot more longevity. I hv shifted my training to more pronation, back pressure. I do train my side pressure but mostly for isometrics or Statics
  • I love doing (much less extreme) versions of some of his home workouts when I do arms. Helps a lot with my naturally weak wrists 😅
  • I don't think Devon and most arm wrestlers but especially Devon I don't think they let us fans and other arm wrestlers in on how they really train lol. I'd say Devon does a lot of jogging or running for that cardio he has. Probably what he did in the military to have so much cardio especially at his age. His cardio is far beyond arm wrestlers half his age lol
  • Don’t underestimate the power of a hot wife cheering you on ether 😏
  • It seems like his method of attack is two fold. 1) Train outside movements to tire out opponent. 2) All the years of training inside finishes off the opponent. This is Devons final form. Scary.
  • Couldn't agree more with the last segment of the video. I think it's less important to study Devon's CURRENT training methods and more important to look at his development through his entire career. Over his decades of arm wrestling he has developed strengths and techniques that once developed may not need to be trained as frequently but require a lot of training and table time just to unlock. So early on he may have needed to train cupping and top rolling a ton just to become proficient at them but now that he's at his current level he just needs to training rising.
