  • Devon is the only reason I ever became interested in armwrestling. He brought eyes to it that would have never watched a match. He's a beast and he's always entertaining.
  • @SDSen
1:11 the way john stopped his toproll in a hook was awesome
  • I've had several requests for long form content, figured I'd give it a shot. Hope ya'll like it! This is the story of "Turn and Burn" becoming the thumb curl Master.

What's up family?!?! .... Still giving us content even when sick. Much respect.
  • the man, the myth, the legend. I mean it actually don't matter if you like this sport or not, if you are human being you can't dislike the sheer commitment and heart of Devon, we are with you all the way bro keep teaching! hats off! <3
  • @gigafordrive
You forgot to mention that Devon invented new sport - Thumbwrestling
  • @CrazyGming
Lol I was watching for like 2 minutes and thought how hasn’t the video ended yet I then saw it was 10 minutes nice to see a longer video for once💪
  • He figured it out man. He really figured it out. The Master. No Limits.
  • @TheShizzo
I'd argue that Devon went the best path possible and that he needed all of that. While his current belief is rise over everything, it's because he has a super strong base from his previous styles that it works so effectively. If someone that was new started (or say devon when he first started) just training rise and nothing else I doubt they'd ever get to a point where they resemble what Devon can currently do.
  • @slevin421
gennadi: "making notes" im jk, but you really made a good video about devon and why he changed his style and what that means. btw: get well soon!
  • @Yeomannn
Hey man, you really summed up Devon's loss of inside game from his 2008-2011 prime. I was aware of the surgery diminishing his abilities but not to that extent. Always thought he was an outside toproller guy.
  • What an amazing video man. It illustrates Devon's progression perfectly. People may argue what version of Devon is stronger. I will say that in 2023, where the super heavyweight division consists of guys being ridiculously overweight, were there is absolute lack of any meaningful restrictions and having 50-60 kg weight differences among competitors is absolutely a thing, and an absolutely ludicrous thing for any strength sport, Devon has found a lane, while also maintain ing a healthy example for the sport. You may like it or hate it, but if you hate it, the only option that remains is pretty much follow in Levan s footsteps for anyone who wants his title, drug overuse mixed with obesity. And for everyone out there who attempts it, it will be extremely short lived, Levans recent performance makes this very evident along with some common sense. Keep up the good work!

Far be it from me to disagree with Larrat's conclusions on the matter, but I find it difficult to believe that his current style is superior to what he was doing back in 2008. He looked pretty much unstoppable back then. I do think that his current style is the best for him now, given his age and injuries, and a fine adaptation for him to have adopted. He just can't do what he was doing back then anymore, physically.
  • @russellinator
This video made me realize how old Devon has gotten at this point, jeez. He looks like my grandpa in one of the clips! Still a legend, and probably the GOAT of armwrestling.
  • @sirspoonyTV
DEVON is just not an arm wrestler... HE IS ARM WRESTLING! I might live in America but in arm wrestling I am Canadian! 💪
  • @CaneSugarHD
That "Yeah big boy!" moment was obnoxious and at the same time just unbelievably funny xD
  • @jamesnm21
Devon's pronation and wrist is nearly uncrackable. But being a tall armwrestler with very long arms it suits his game because he has a natural rising advantage. Post the elbow and apply back pressure and you've got the shorter guy hanging on.
  • Wish good health to you brother! Thank you for the awesome content as always!!! Turn and burn!!
