Magnus' grip strength is just going to get greater and greater! Even Odd's is still improving at 73! So cool to have front row seats to this spectacle! Perhaps we're going to be entering a sort of Golden Era of grip strength in coming years?!
-
There's just something refreshing about watching egoless, passionate, and kind people just having fun.
-
If you've ever shaken an old man who has worked all of his life's hand, you know that strength.
-
Man just nonchalantly moves it back in position like it weighs nothing after Magnus and Juji already tapped out. That was both comical and impressive 😂
-
Magnus reacts to Odd like people usually react to him. This is a unique experience for him
-
Did Magnus really try a bunch of world records with his shirt ON???
-
Worked with a 76yr old wildland firefighter, falling danger trees on fires. He carried 100 lbs of gear, 16 hr days.

I do grip training and one thing is for sure, hand size starts to matter tremendously when you're dealing with grip strength sports involving wrapping your hand around thick objects. Magnus is exceptionally strong for what he's doing with much smaller hands, aside from bodyweight differences.
-
This is the grandpa that doesn't get nerfed with old age. Also Magnus almost casually breaking a world record just shows how frigging strong he is
-
Odd Haugen deserves recognition. I don't know how but the dude is just fucking amazing.
-
This old guy is an absolute unit. What a beast of a man
-
And I can barely lift my life out of the gutter. Props to these strong men.
-
I want to see you in an official Grip contest Magnus! I'm pretty sure you are gonna crush it
-
Crazy how close Magnus is to the world record with zero formal training
-
Juji's such a good dude. We all need a friend like him
-
I remember my 63 year-old father putting me and three of my buddies to shame when it came to grip strength. We were all between 18 and 20 and thought we were tough, lol.
-
Crazy how smooth and stable Odd's lifts look, even when he's clearly exerting himself there's no shakiness or wobble at all. It's like his muscle control is absolutely perfect.
-
Odd is a legend in the world of strength sports. The guy has competed and won competitions in bodybuilding, powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, strongman and grip strength. And he's still actively competing at the world level at 73. Truly unique.

There was a gentleman being seen as a patient in a hospital I was working in. In his 90s, walked in straight and tall. No hunch, didn't appear to hurt or anything. WWII veteran. Sharp as a tack. Had the largest hands I've ever seen on a man. He was probably about 6' tall, similar to myself, but he had silverback gorilla mitts. Looked like Odds here. It's super inspiring to see older gents getting down still. My old man is in the best shape of his life, can whip me on a pull-up bar or just about anything in the gym still, and he's nearing 60. His biggest limitation is max HR goes with age as well, so he the cardio intensity training is a little different, but frankly just seems like his body just became more efficient. He's a mental cyclist. He and another gent his age have a silent war going on for fastest time on a local loop, it's gotten completely absurd to the point that no one in ANY age group is even close (or probably cares/has time to dedicate to fitness for the younger child raising guys). I just hope to stay away from injuries. I want to sleep well, and move without pain at that age.

Wow. A lot of people around his age are retired sitting on their chairs barely walking a mile a day, and he's out here outdoing young guys that work their body to the limit with ease... I'm extremely impressed
