  • I think the "Ignore it" one was interesting, because it could be like a skeleton in the closet, like a family issue that they think as long as they ignore it, it will go away, but it slowly destroys their family.
  • Yo! Thank you so much for watching our short They Hear It!!! It really means a lot!! Got a new short dropping very soon!
  • I remember the “Ignore it” creepy pasta and how someone theorized that the “woman” was supposed to represent someone that the father was having an affair with, and how the wife and children are expected to pretend she doesn’t exist for the sake of the family. That’s why the mother is the one who eventually tries to kill her, thinking it would solve the problem when it just makes things worse.
  • I swear to god if horror writers can't come up with something other than "hurt the pet" as the first sign of a serious threat I'm gonna burn the genre to the ground
  • I love how he hysterically laughed at himself saying Momma 🥺, told us to ignore him then continued to say it afterwards 😆
  • whoever made "they hear it" needs an award, the way they used the dark is incredibly impressive.
  • @anoon-
I remember a Japanese folklore monster called hachishakusama, the tall lady, who would attempt to lure in children. The way to get rid of her is to hide in a room for a day while she stalks outside, attempts to break in and trick you and you must ignore her. That scared me a lot as a child so ignore it really made me unlock those memories and actually really scared me.

I love how in “They Hear It” uses the dark and shadows for a more tense, anxious feeling. It also makes it more scary cause the main people of the video were kids, and not adults. It gives it a more innocent and creepy feeling to it.
  • This is probably my favourite series to watch on the internet
  • It warms my heart that Seán still does the "down, up" thing to sync his screen recording to his actual recording :'D That's so adorable
  • That closing shot with the monster reflecting off the glasses was superb. Never seen that before, very impressive.
  • Personally I adored the ideas for Ignore It and They Hear It. With Ignore It the idea of just having to sit there as some horrific entity terrorizes you and just hope it goes anyway is horrible - even though you know what will happen if you look at it, part of you still wants to anyway, just shudders I also loved the way in They Hear It that all the sounds become amplified when the monster is close. It's almost like a reverse of what you expect from horror monsters - you're normally straining to hear them and figure out if they're close, but with this one you always know when its nearby, but you never know where exactly it is because all the noise is so disorientating. Plus I do think it was the scariest and best executed in general, outside of the concept. It was the only one where I was taking the video out of fullscreen and turning down my volume because NOPE
  • The creators of “they hear it” did a good job at leaving the monster up to your own imagination until the last second rather than being a jumpscare fest like other movies. I think that’s a more effective form of horror for me rather than seeing the threat directly, ironlung does a good job at that too and it actually scared me. (Thx for the likes btw)
  • I adore that Seán will take every possible opportunity to cry alien. Thunder clouds? - Aliens, a creepy television? - Aliens, Someone sneeze? That's extraterrestrial activity right there
  • @deathbedestined
I have never watched anything as horrifylong as "they hear it". The exact way that I could feel my heart racing the farther she got into the woods, the louder the sound got, the way it had escalated so quickly was just terrifying. Definitely going to watch the movie it will be made into, as a horror fanatic who doesn't get scared much, I can successfully say that I am not going to sleep tonight.
  • I read a creepy pasta once where a boy and his friend were camping. There was a deer in the river, and they could just see it’s head poking out while it swam. It came towards them, and as it emerged from the water, his friend faced him and said “don’t look at it. Pretend it’s not there.” So the boy just sees it over his friend’s shoulder. It comes out of the water on two legs, and walks just behind his friend. Starts making noises. Freaking metal.
  • Gotta say the biggest fear of mine is hearing something coming at you but not being able to see it
  • I remember "ignore it" being a creepypasta many years ago. The story was actually pretty cool and more fleshed out. Seeing it here was nostalgic.
  • I liked the last one really much. It shows how much the audio in horror movies affect you, I mean the last video was basically just audio and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Really like this series keep It up Sean.
