I am in shock and I’m shaking right now holy crap. Never in a million years would I think Jack himself would play my game! Dude thank you so much this seriously means the world to me!!! Yes I am still currently adding updates to this game to make it an ongoing experience for everyone but yes there are still plenty of secrets still hidden in the game. ;)

When Sean says "You probably weren't alive yet and I was 8" and you were actually 18 years old in 1998....the internet is a great place to make you feel ancient lol
  • @Traeknald
jack answering no to "are you close with your family" in complete silence is not the mood I was expecting today lol

Are we also going to ignore how fucking PURE BLUE Jacks eyes are??

Here's my take on the plot so far: Gary summers (the guy who got into the fatal car accident) died, and Jason Storm did too (the employee of Razii inc.) and they were both buried in Greenwood cemetery, where the robber would dig up their graves. (I also think the robber is likely the mysterious worker or "new guy" who people weren't sure what he was doing. He was most probably transporting or helping transport Jason Storm and Gary's souls into the games.) Gary summers was somehow transported into Talking Gerald as Gerald, this explains the "Atleast that's what I believe", the "Please don't do this to me, it wasn't my fault. I don't know why I'm here" and, most importantly, the "Tyrannosaurus wrecks" car crash joke. I'm not entirely sure what happened with Jason Storm, but he could've been transferred into Jumping Julian. This would also explain the whole "save the trapped souls" thing. Probably some plotholes in this theory, but just my headcanon so far!
  • 27:39 jack didn't notice it but for some reason it put the biggest pit in my stomach realizing that that's THE sedan and THE truck

The scary face on the blue screen is genius. We’re so conditioned to wait and sort of redirect our attention to the next thing when we see it, so it makes for such a perfect jump scare without needing to be super sudden or play a loud noise. Genius game design.

As a big Simulacra fan, it’s cool to see how much inspiration the dev seem to have drawn from that. Both conceptually and with the subtle door knock and breathing effects. Really hoping this becomes a bigger subgenre of horror gaming because it’s so engaging and effective!
  • If anyone was curious what the system error codes on the blue screen at 11:00 mean, they are in hexadecimal. When translated, it reads: "Let us out!", "He has trapped us here!", and "We are running out of time!".

A couple of fun facts 1. Fully coloring the paint area will give you the answer to match the shapes 2. If you talk to the pencil enough in the note pad he’ll share some numbers
  • at 4:32 when Talking Gerald glitched out you could hear a faint car horn probably indicating the car wreck scene that had happened. i believe Talking Gerald actually is Gary Summers and was somehow transferred to the game and now he’s trapped there. explains why he’s questioning why he’s there and his confusion. just my take on this

Alternate title: Jack goes full MatPat for 54 minutes and 26 seconds. You've taught him well game theory.

I love games that "hack" your computer. Gives an extra layer of horror/creepy
  • The knock at 34:07 was so well done that I honestly got up and checked the door. Like I didn't think for a second it was part of the game until I realized I was home alone.
  • @Nitrinoxus
Sean: "There is no way, even in 1998, that this game 'takes the world by storm'." Me: "Especially given the competition. Ocarina of Time came out in '98, too."
  • @plutototoh
I appreciate the editing at 3:26 moving Jack around so we can read. Such a small but very very helpful bit of editing to do!! Thank you
  • @AMonstHer
Fun fact the person who made this game is awesome and has made some other pretty sick games you should check out. They are amazing and deserve all the support you can give. Kudos to you Jackson❤

4:30 is probably the hardest I've jumped at a horror game jump scare in years. Holy crap.
  • I ran the "unknown" audio through a spectogram and it produces a silhouette with glowing eyes and on either side of it, it says "I am always here. I am always watching"
