England is indeed a beautiful country, with a rich history evident around every corner.

Thanks all you, for just being you. Well played. I enjoyed seeing our rich, cultural country through another's eyes. As an older English man, I've spent almost 20 years mostly out of the country, seeing your vlog actually has made me love my country more and want to explore It again. So, well done.

My immediate take from your vlog was fun, laughter, joy, and happiness, it's quite infectious. Personally you exude a love and enthusiasm for everyone and everything around you, and for this I'd like to give you my thanks, I smiled and laughed throughout you're travels. You clearly have a true vocation for this media....do more!

For such a small island it's truly incredible how much diversity there is. Be it landscapes, regional accents, art, food (yes, we have fantastic food in Britain!) and history. London is a wonderful city, but Edinburgh is stunning, not to mention the Highlands.

Thank you for visiting our little country hope you all enjoyed your visit 😊

I'm British, and the bottle caps not coming off is weird for us, too. Very recent EU legislation that has come into force has made it a requirement, to help reduce pastic waste (since people often discard or lose caps, and the hope is it'll increase the chance of the cap getting recycled). Probably a good piece of legislation, ultimately, but it'll take some getting used to.

Dry cold 'Hot' cross bun? Needed toasting and some butter. Great view into your trip, and your culture shocks. Light in the afternoon gets me. When is it dark usually in the US? Great ABBA. If you just kept humming, i wouldn't have know you didn't know the words. Blur - Parklife i think from the 90's
  • I am a Londoner in my early 40s and watching your video and others which I also browse which are similar are motivating me to explore the rest of our country with my wife. I have not travelled much away from London apart from visiting my brother on the IOW and sister in Oxord, which is good as great places to visit. I used to go to other parts of the country when I was a child with my family and so it is nice to be inspired. I will visit York in a couple of months and then elsewhere in the future. The only problem with travelling arond the UK is it is more expensive than going around the rest of Europe which is crazy, but I love the country where I live. Great Vlog!

You can't go wrong saying, "Cheers!". Glad you had a great time in England. Make sure you come back soon to see other places such as Bath, Chester, Liverpool, Portsmouth, York, etc.
  • Amazing! I have just come across your VLOG. The British Government should fund your next trip. You have probably put about £1 billion into our coffers from extra.tourism. You have shown me places I didn't know about in my own country. Your smile is so engaging as is your enthusiasm for life. Thank you it was very entertaining.
  • @EmilyWilliams1967
What fun! I think it's so funny that Helena seems exasperated by the whole YouTube experience!!!
  • @vinnywarren2144
Wow really enjoyed your family enjoying England!🇬🇧👍Thankyou.
  • @webMonkey_
Thanks for allowing us to see our country through your eyes. You are very sweet.

It's mad seeing clips of Wokingham. That was the town I grew up in. The Tudor House at 5:12 was the old Doctor's surgery, so I don't have many happy memories of that building as I was always poorly when I went there 🤣
