I'm in Canada. I live in a ghetto. There's a homeless shelter literally across the street from my place. I've lived here for 10 years. Do you want to know how many times my car was broken into, despite leaving cash visibly in the cup holder? 0.5 times. One time my neighbour caught someone trying to jam a coat hanger through the crack of the window and scared them off. That's it. So fifteen times? That is just... Wow.

I lived in a college town for 3 years and my car was broken into like 4 times as well as my roomies. Once the dude dropped his wallet with an ID and we weren't 100% on weather it was actually the dude or someone elses that he stole and dropped. Either way we used the cash to buy a bag of weed and a pizza and then called it a net gain because the most they ever stole was loose change lol
