You guys made me cry…yes I actually wept! In 1977, while serving in the Navy, I spent 6 months in Misawa, Japan…way up, in the northern part of the main island (Honshu) of Japan. It was in a rural area yet practically on the coastline. I made many trips to the interior and along the coast, and did my best not to be “touristy” and focused on connecting with the people, their culture and the incredible countryside. Watching this episode, literally caused tears to gush forth. What a wonderful site, seeing the mountains and the farmlands. I’m so stoked for you all and think I’m gonna need to snag a Matcha soon… Arigato, Y’all! “Ol’ Scooter” in East Texas…

The way Jordan got so excited about the auto toilet lid is so delightfully childlike. I live these coffee/tea sourcing videos so much. Your integrity is awesome! I've seen other videos of how Japans tea industry is aging out. So informative. 🎉

I cannot believe that you guys have me buying matcha tea that you purchased from a 'small' tea farm in Japan! Thanks for this wonderful adventure! Hugs to Sadie! 💌

I remember buying a candle from you. And when you made teeny glass bottle necklaces and look at you now sourcing Mache in freeking Japan.. WOW❤

Hey guys, I’m an American that lived for multi years in Tokyo and Kyoto. Each name is pronounced as 2 syllables: To-kyo and Kyo-to. They are the opposite to each other. Tokyo means East Capital and Kyoto means capital city. Kyoto is the historical capital.

So happy to finally find out what got you to my bar.. Such an awesome privilege to be part of really wonderful video. I loved the time I spent in Japan and this has rekindled my desire to return. You made my day.....
  • @jimrogers7425
When the two of you were traveling in your van/bus, who knew that you’d build a coffee, and now a tea, business. What an amazing and inspired journey you two (now three) have had. Cheers! So happy for both of you.

Sadie is a good traveler. She adjusts well to new environments. Thank you for sharing your journey, Japan is magical.
  • @seabliss22
I forgot to mention.... That scene of opening the door with Sadie's silhouette in the foreground was absolutely epic.
  • I worked for Nissho Iwai for 10 years. I always wanted to go to Japan. The Japanese people are so gracious and kind.
  • As the child of a military officer, the time spent with your child, is more valuable than not. I have a certain amount of resentment towards the military for taking my father away fr most of my childhood, and since having a daughter....I feel there is nothing more important than my child knowing I was with her during her formative years. We have a small business where we travel together, work together and explore new and amazing places together. She (Sadie)will be greatly appreciative for the time you had with her, the things you see and experience together..........

I hope it's the wedding when you guys go back to Panama😍 looking forward to it. Stay bless and kisses to Sadie and Lola and the puppies.
  • Woo hoo!! Matcha BABY!! I won an all expense paid 5 start trip to Japan when I worked at Pioneer Electronics and competed for their USA title of best productivity improvement. I fell deeply in love with Japan and was able to ride the trains, go to temples, etc. AMAZING. I went to a tea ceremony and it was so moving. (Also, I grew up near Stowe, VT in a little town called Highgate Falls on the Mississquoi River.). I HAVE to order your matcha. That man you partnered with was so eloquent and committed. I support all small, meaningful ventures. Love you guys and Ilove how Sadie is such an adventurous traveler and enjoys so many different foods. Rock ON

Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 85,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams. God kept to his promises to and for me
  • Congratulations on expanding your business to include tea. What an amazing trip and a wonderful organic family farm in Japan you are in business with. You guys are so dynamic, innovative, passionate and a true inspiration. Also - So proud of how well Sadie travels - like a pro❤️❤️❤️

Kaylee, 7 years ago I took my son to Japan, his choice for "anywhere in the world". To say it changed us is an understatement. He was 21, we had 3 weeks of travel, he decided on his plan, and I adapted mine. We had every experience, good, bad and crazy. 😅 He came home, found a great job; he loves still, and I found my forever retirement on the beach. We both yearn to return, he with his love, me by myself. The highlight for us both was seeing a live concert by the Kodo drummers. Ooh Okinawa, Airbnb motorhome tour was crazy good too.😊🇦🇺💖
  • @lisatingley8953
How exciting. I just ordered for my son’s birthday next month. Now going on Amazon to see brewing techniques. Congratulations and give thanks to God for all your blessings!! God bless all of you and your endeavors 🙏❤️🇺🇸

Japan has a way of making you feel amazing. I spent a year in Okinawa, Japan...and I miss it! And you are doing the best thing...loving their culture, and respecting it! They will take you in, and share their lives with you. I look forward to more amazing video's during this next adventure in your lives. Love from Olympia, Wa.
