Imagine being so terrified of something that you are willing to spend the rest of your life in prison to get away from it, only for someone to bring it right back in front of you after you narrowly managed to "escape" it the first time. That man was terrified beyond belief, he just got 'lucky' that it wasn't Rose's time yet.
-
I wonder if the Smile Monster was watching this like, "Hey I remember that guy."
-
Between her crying for her cat and him screaming to get away from her, these were two of the rawest shows of emotion in the film.
-
“YOU have it?! It’s YOU?!” A super-creepy new classic, with first-rate acting…I loved Sosie Bacon, and who DIDN’T believe this guy was scared spitless?
-
And THAT folks is how you act terrified ... Had me screaming during the movie "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM!" 😂
-
He was not only scared of the curse but, he was also scared for his life as well. Who could blame him?
-
Is it weird that his performance brought me to tears?😅 He was so convincing with how terrified he was, I felt so bad for him.
-
Damn this is insane, his expression says it all when she opened her mouth. Rob went through a lot and is scared as hell
-
He did not want to go through that experience again
-
Although he did commit a murder, I can’t help but feel bad for the guy. He wasn’t a bad person, he was just put under incredible pressure and went off the rails. He literally COULD NOT handle being tormented by that entity, he just had to get away from it by any means.
-
This movie is exactly what mental health issue can be like, it also shows how people think you’re insane but to you it can be as real as anyone else’s situation
-
God he’s an incredible actor!!!
-
Even with all the horrifying scenes in this movie, this scene was the most bone chilling for me
-
love this scene. when those dark strings hit...."YOU?" . ah love it!
-
Him freaking out like that is pretty understandable considering that he essentially chose to be remembered as a murderer and be incarcerated to ensure his survival. It would have all been for nothing if Rose committed suicide in that moment instead of later on with Joel as the witness.
-
His reaction really drove it home on how terrifying the situation is. Being so terrified of having anyone or anything associated with it possibly coming back to him.
-
After seeing how the entity really looks like, you can see the fear in his reaction.
-
The way hes scared is very horrifying
-
This guy really killed his performance. No single moment better demonstrates the sheer terror this thing inspires.
-
The actor who played the prisoner in this scene is Rob Morgan, The New York Times recently included him in their list of the 25 greatest actors in the world today.
