Another great tip is to grab a fastpass for an outside ride (like Dumbo, Magic Carpets, Everest, etc.) if you notice it is about to storm. These fastpasses will change to "Multiple Experiences" and you can use them for any ride that isn't the top few rides. I used some "multiple experiences" fastpasses for Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, etc. when no fastpasses for those rides were available.

The best tip is that you can use your fastpass 5 minutes early and up to 15 minutes late of your hour window! And be careful if your trip has a weekend in it. It's best to book the top tiered attractions during the weekend of your vacation first then the week day!

My tip, once you scan your magic band, while you are in the short FP line to ride your first ride, check your app to see if you can move one of your others up to an earlier time. If you do this for both of the others, you can start getting a fourth Fast Pass sooner than the 3-hour mark originally set. The earlier in the day you check for FP+, the more likely you are to get another one (or two or three).

It's so diappointing that they made pretty much every ride at Hollywood Studios Tier 1 :( It's a waste, nothing else needs a fastpass there.

This makes going to Disney a lot of work - strict deadlines, running for one ride to another, obsessive checking for new fast pass times. Boy, I sure do miss the days when Disney was just fun.
  • one of the best things that has happened to me: i went to disney world for the first time in over 10 years for my honeymoon last october. needless to say, i had no idea what the fastpass+ on my ticket meant until about 3 days before our flight. i got some decent fast passes, but none for top tier rides. all week long, everybody was telling us how amazing flight of passage was. we knew we probably wouldn't get to ride it because of how long the lines were for it, and we made peace with it. on the uber to the animal kingdom the driver was gushing about the ride, so i randomly decided to open up the disney app. right there in my face was a fast pass for flight of passage for 2 pm on a saturday! my hands were seriously shaking as i reserved that fast pass. super pumped we got the chance to experience that ride!

Thank you so much! Just did my FP’s before I saw this, but had learned a lot of tips from you and other vloggers, so I got some good ones! Now I have more tips for using and modifying. The more you know....

Going to Disney World in December and your videos have been so helpful !
  • AJ- my family and I had NO idea about the additional three FastPasses that you can get if you stay club level. No one ever told us about these perks and we’ve been planning our trip for over a year now. Thanks to you and your team, we are JUST making the 90 day club level window by 2 weeks. You’re a true life saver!!!!

We are doing a quick 1 day trip to go to Galaxy's Edge in November and I had no idea about the ability to make another fastpass once the 3 you reserved are gone. We make our reservations on Tuesday so thank you SO much for this information. Especially now that Hollywood Studios has done the tiered system I hate having to choose between Tower of Terror, Slingy Dog, and Mania. Hopefully we can squeeze in all 3 somehow before our reservation at Ogas. You sre amazing AJ!
  • This video within the first 2 minutes already helped me to book more fast passes. I thought you could only book 3 for the whole trip but it’s 3 per day in one park! Super helpful. Thank you!

Love your channel. Thought me so much and now whenever my family has a question I can answer it. I have recommended it to my parents to, they love you.
  • @wolfsonryan
Great video! I’ve also been told that if you get in the line for let’s say Flight of Passage right when the park closes, they will still let you on the ride. They won’t let anymore people get in line, but the people already waiting will get on. Also, when the park closes, disregard the wait times because they are jacked up on purpose and super long to deter you from getting on the line when the park closes. 🤔😉🤗

First time I went to disney was when the FastPass was first introduced in like 1999. It wasn't very well known yet and we used it so much. I can only imagine how much longer it takes with it now, back then we basically were able to go straight to the front of the line.
  • @Patriotgrl01
This came at the perfect time! Booking on Monday!! 😀👍🏻
  • @Matt-eb9ne
Thanks DFB, there are a lot of great tips in here. I would add that if you are going in a larger group the need to book FastPasses in advance is only that much more important since it is harder to impossible to get last minute FastPasses or change them on the fly.
