If they can re-imagine Tarzan Treehouse to a clasdic, yet fresh, Swiss Family Treehouse, they can do justice to this. With technology now, they can really have fancy dreamfinder.
-
I’d love an updated Figment attraction that had the Dreamfinder back and was set up like Runaway Railway - it feels like you could really bring the chaos and surrealism to full effect that way
-
A new Journey into imagination with the MeowWolf team as consultants would be 🔥
-
Meow Wolfs are always worth a visit. Don't spoil the experience, just show up and enjoy it.
-
Baxter stated he wants to work on the updated version if it ever happened. He's currently out of retirement working on Bayou THEN a permit gets filed? suspicions are high. Personally I'd love to see a trackless dark ride. Imagine the art section you dance with other cars going down a river of a paper world, each train seeing their own sets, 1 a fair, 1 a forest, 1 a plains. the literature section could have a drop track, the science section could have forced perspective. the possibilities are quite literally endless. (I maybe a huge Journey into Imagination fan :D)

Aside from bringing back Dreamfinder and the more fantastical set pieces of the original, I hope they also bring back Figment's personality from the original attraction as well as the goal to truly inspire guests to imagine in all sorts of way. I really like how the original iteration of the ride told guests that they can use their imagination in science and creating scary stories, which is usually very rare to hear.
-
I hope they make a high technology version of their original journey into imagination ride that opened in Epcot. It would be a great way to have a new groundbreaking ride, but also to pay to the original ride, and OG Epcot. Just a thought though. 🤷♂️

FIGMENT DESERVES BETTER!!! If Disney doesn’t make a new ride I WILL!
-
Honestly I could totally see them announcing a new JII at D23 this year. I think Disney has finally realized how huge it would be to bring this attraction back to its former glory after the popcorn bucket saga and the figment meet and greet return (which had some crazy wait times when it first came back).
-
it would be cool if they made the preshow in the glass pyramids and had like the glass transform into the wacky world of imagination and then you go into the rainbow tunnel
-
They should really bring back Dreamfinder
-
Oh I love that he mentioned Meow Wolf. That kind of theming would be perfect
-
I like the irony of the recreating the original rather than using their IMAGINATION to create a new one !
-
Tony Baxter was just talking about Journey into your imagination on Bob Gurr's YouTube channel
-
You saying “bathrooms” and showing the water fountains at the same time had me picturing toilet fountains and now, that’s all I want to see.
-
Dreamfinder and a rainbow tunnel with the original theme song and I’ll be happy.
-
Simple. Replace the Omnimover chain drive system with trackless cars. You eliminate the rotating pavilion sync issues caused by loading/unloading delays, and open it up to new story possibilities.
-
I hope they give figment the love that deserves one day. It’s a beautiful facade and popular character
-
Meow Wolf is a great example of the imagination aspect that Disney needs for figment.
-
I literally made a joke in a video about The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh that the Heffalumps and Woozles scene is the reason I love Figment, so I'm glad I'm not the only one to have noticed!!
