Meet Prancer, a 2-year-old chihuahua, and perhaps the worst dog in America! So why do so many people want to adopt him? He hates people, especially men, and other animals. Tyfanee Fortuna has been fostering Prancer after his owner entered a senior living facility, and she posted a very honest ad on Facebook that went viral. “Neurotic mess… demonic… 50% hate and 50% tremble,” reads some of the ad. But for some reason, people are dying to adopt Prancer! “He sounds perfect,” one person posted. #InsideEdition

Don’t you love it when your dog is being called the worst dog in America 🥰

Men, children, humans and animals: exist Prancer: And I took that personally.

She doesn’t even realize that she was enforcing this behavior even more by petting him (positive stimulus) every time he barked or growled.
  • I think he's just upset because his owner gave him up so now he's bitter. He might have abandonment and trust issues which is why he's reluctant and defensive around basically anybody else. It's actually kind of sad.

i kinda feel bad for the doggie tho :( he was owned by an elder so he probably didn’t see a lot of people and the outside world that much. he’s just scared in my opinion. i hope he gets adopted by someone who will love him forever.

this isn't funny, it's so sad how much anxiety this little dog has. he needs some serious training.

I adopted a chihuahua in November who was abused so badly he had to have his front leg amputated. He was displaying many of the same behaviours as Prancer due to fear and anxiety so we were told he would never be able to be around children, other animals or introduced to new people. Fast forward 6 months and he is a different dog! Yes he still has his anxiety but it’s lessened hugely and he has made both human and doggy friends. Also plays well with children including a 2 year old! Sometimes all they need is a space to feel calm and safe while they explore the scarier world around them.

I think that dog needs to be trained before he’s up for adoption

Chihuahuas may be tiny, but their rage far exceeds their pit bull bretheren.

This made me think of that TikTok with the lady giving her pit bull the “black” talk about he can’t be running around acting a damn fool like chihuahuas

He's scared and confused as to where his owner went.😔

He’s not mad. He’s just Anti social Social 😳He seems nice on the inside 😅

He isn't the worst dog. He has a lot of anxiety. The way the "handler" laughs or pets during these makes them even more anxious.

Prancer was adopted and is doing great in his new home! He's being lovingly spoiled!😊

It makes me sad that if a big dog acted this way people would want to put him down immediately 😔

I hate how people think you don't need to train small dogs like this. My sister has a chihuahua and while he isn't aggressive, he behaves so badly.
  • "This two year old chihuahua may be the worst dog in America" You leave Prancer alone you monster

Awe, he looks just like Chihuahua I had for many years, although chico was chocolate brown! He was the most loving and grateful dog as I did rescue him from a bad situation! He would stare at me for hours with pure love in his eyes! So sweet, but if he thought I was threatened or someone with bad intentions entered my area, he became a while other beast! I don't think I ever had a dog that loved me more! Broke my heart when he passed this year out of the blue in his sleep!
