Theresa and Mike Morini took in a dog named Dita after Theresa’s mother passed away last September. The loyal 5-year-old Chihuahua mix refuses to leave her former master’s gravesite in New York State. “It broke my heart. Dita and my mother were inseparable, wherever my mother went, Dita followed,” she told Inside Edition. They even snuck Dita into the hospital outside Albany where Theresa’s mother was being treated for congestive heart failure. #InsideEdition

    When my gentle grandma passed from this life,she had a sweet furbaby,a poodle mix,very tiny. We called her Shalom,for she brought us peace. But she continued to sleep on grams bed after gram died,every single night. One morning I woke,and went to take her out to do her thing,I found her little body cold and stiff on the bed. I believe her tiny heart had been broken,and she wanted to be with her mommy. They were inseperatable.🐕

    It always makes me so sad when I heard her say; “Hello sweetheart, did you miss your grandma?” I can’t help but cry, poor baby. She sounds so sweet.

    My neighbor passed away years ago and two days after he passed, his dog died too. They were so close. My neighbors wife thought the dog died of a broken heart.

    I just burst out in tears, it’s probably a mix of everything I’ve been through since 2020. Talk about a man or woman’s best friend. Even a dog has a heart.

    When my husband passed his cat Elvira wouldn't leave his chair sitting on his shirt. When we moved she jumped out of the car and wouldn't leave the house so she stayed with the new renters. Amazing right!

    This is heartbreaking. Animals absolutely have a strong bond with their families. This dog was blessed to be so loved.
