Probably the only car in the world that has consistently been better than its previous version.

When the only thing haters have to say are "it looks like a Beetle" or "all Porsches are the same", you know Porsche did a bang up job with this GT3

4.0 liters, 500 hp, N.A. in 2017 ... yep, the dream is still happening
  • @kenstyle6
This thing is just beautiful. The perfect car.

Am I the only one who's a little staggered that he can pin the throttle and we hear it running through the gears, and he's just sitting there, looking at the camera, one hand on the wheel, and it looks like he's not even moving, or just out for a cruise. No grunting, no vibrations, no shifting around in the seat, just having a conversation. Nuts.

Glad to see Chris Harris really moving up in his career. Doing the same thing when he was more independent but now with a bigger budget and more money in his pocket. Well deserved. Please don't ever change ^_^

The becomes even better? The story of Porsche. Best car brand in the world. They're the only ones that are spectacular in both objective and subjective performance, reliability, quality, sound and top engineering.

    So what's the DougScore ???
  • @Grannygrudel
Can we see a Chris Harris blooper reel? Always wanted to know if he ever spins when doing slide after slide.

I know a lot of people have already addressed this but I thought I would chip in for those that need it. Yes, he said 991 which is correct. Just like with most manufacturers, Porsche have a Type/Chassis number for all models. The types for the 911 in chronological order are: 911 classic-> 964 -> 993 -> 996 -> 997 -> 991. These are all 911 and the 991 second generation is the current model, referred to as 991.2.
  • @BiGMoFFen
Lol at the noobs that think he made a mistake by saying 991

Thanks Chris and Co.... I think I just got a new target to achieve in life.... No matter what, I'll hopefully own or atleast get to drive one of these one day
  • This series of Porsches might be my favorite sounding cars ever made

chris harris and tiff needel are the two best at this in my opinion. they make you feel what they're feeling! it's like some weird vicarious experience haha i love it
  • @kevinsdb1
So is Top Gear basically now just Chris Harris Drives cars? lol
  • @zachg9065
I would have this over the RS. Love the looks of the normal GT3 vs. the big wing on the RS that looks tacked on.

5:44 Best part! Revving the engine all the way out. Amazing.
