After finishing season 4, I'm not gonna lie, the Azure Lion is probably the best antagonist this show as ever done. Probably one of the best antagonists I've ever seen in media.

I very much like how Azure is not really a villain. LBD had good intentions, yet was also cruel in her actions, manipulative, torturous. She pitied those who suffered but arrogantly thought herself as the only one who had the right to decide if the world lives or dies. Azure in comparison, was a warrior who held compassion for those who suffered, nothing more, nothing less. They say absolute power corrupts absolutely. I guess we'll see in season 5 if that rings true for Azure, or if the Jade Emperor was as callous as he as of now seemingly was. Since he's mostly been a mystery, even his role in the universe is unknown though Nezha claims it critical

Be honest, can Azure be considered a villain? He was genuinely reasonable, understanding, and truly never meant to cause harm to MK and his friends. Hell, he didn’t even want to hurt Wukong. Azure was blinded by his ideas and motive, forming him into the bad guy in their eyes

They really took a Lego animated show and said "Hey, let's make the new villain interesting and badass." Not satisfied with that, they added "And hot."

Fun fact: Azure Lion is voiced by Christopher Sabat who also voiced many anine characters the most well known being Zoro, All Might, and Vegeta (also Piccolo)

As someone fan of any mystical animalistic characters..it's amazing

I love every character in this series, but the idea of this dude calling the ox king brother while boxing up his family is hilarious to me
