Proves my point again Gary. It's these little known places that provide the best food and service. No "celeb" names, no sponsors, etc. Just an honest cafe trying their best in an already over-compertitive market.

LA Cafe is one of my favourites, and I am very fortunate to live in Sutton. Excellent review and well deserved, but you did not get as far as the delicious cakes they offer too. It is wonderful cafe, and I was one of the first to eat within when they opened. Long may it continue.

Roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine are always a winner. That short rib is calling to me.

Hi Gary - I have been watching all your videos recently, or at least as many as possible, I was astonished when, within a nanosecond of this one beginning I recognised Sutton!!!!! I live here, I commute into central London every day (and back again), leave the station, look of at LA Cafe but have not ever thought to visit it. Now I will!!
