  • to me, it is insane how people can make this kind of things with traditional subdivision modeling and without sculpting...
  • @ArikaStack
This is insane. I've used 3ds Max off and on since I was about 12-13, and I wouldn't consider myself a master because I've yet to do a quality head, though I've made a body that's at least solid. This past year, I've dedicated myself to it, and have learned alot, but this video has taught me alot too and I want to try my hand at edge modeling something like this (I usually do subdivision, though I've edge modeled clothes and such). I've never played with soft selection or FFDs though I was aware of them, and can't wait to try this variety of new workflow ideas and tools out once I learn more about face anatomy and topology in particular. I'm more commenting to say I like your content and you inspire me. Alot.
  • the tone and control of ur voice says "I know my sNice tutorialt!". Good stuff buddy.
  • TNice tutorials is the best tutorial. Simply explained to a newbie, great job man.

You're seriously awesome!  Everybit of that was useful.  Glad to see you grasp the whole point of eye lids and their depth.  Cheekbones, how lips fold, pit under the nose, the point of the brow, how eyeballs have raised pupils, etc  I'll be watching you from here on out!
  • @D2Kprime

That was very amazing.. the way you kept the quadrant flow without a reference of some kind is pretty amazing.
  • @Roxas99Yami
you know, i started using 3dsmax since 2006 and i got used to doing organic modeling like this, and learned the topology of the face before zbrush became very popular and way less time consuming. i enjoyed your video, have my upvote stranger
