The best deck replacement video on YouTube by far. Nothing left out. Much appreciated Joe!
  • This is by far the best video from start to end for replacing the walking belt on a treadmill.

I initially thought the manual would have instructions on how to do this but no luck. Thank you for uploading. We were just about ready to throw out the treadmill because the old belt started folding in on itself. The new belt is working so well now, it's hard to believe it's the same treadmill/that I was able to do it by myself

Great detail and instructions. Thank you!

You helped me and you don't even know it. My sister gave me an old Octane Q47e elliptical. I was getting a 22 error message indicating a left motor problem. I came across your video that had you check a plug in the main riser in case some buttons on the display weren't working. I took the shell surround off and checked the plug going from the left handle to the interior, and boom.....fixed. Thanks!

Love you brother from INDIA ❤ So much informative Video.
  • That’s a great video! Thank you! I wish I had watched it before changing my treadmill’s belts. One thing I did it wrong is that I didn’t keep the rear roller in the same position. It had a lot of cotton balls on it. So, while cleaning it I turned it over a couple of times; therefore, I have no idea what is the correct direction. 😬 Is there a way to correct it or know it is installed in the opposite direction? The new belt seems really tight. And, the reason I changed it is because my treadmill kept stopping and restarting again during workout. I was told it was because of the overused belt.

Very informative video! I need to change the walking belt on mine and this is a great teaching. I have a question, I have been looking for the correct part for my treadmill, a Gold's Gym Trainer 430i; nevertheless I can't find a walking belt with the same model number, for example mine is GGTL39617.5, I have searched in Amazon and in the part supplier you mentioned on the video but the last two digits are the problem, most of the model numbers for the belt I find are GGTL39617XX, being X another digit)s) for the same model name (430i). Is there a noticeable difference in belts if there is such a small change?
  • Good evening I have benefited greatly from your channel I bought a new belt and it fits very well. - The sound of the machine has improved The machine is not heating up - And we finished touching the electrode in the handle *I have two questions 1- After I installed the belt, I began to hear a sound as if it was the sound of wood. This is if I was running in front near the machine, but if I went back away from the machine, I did not hear the sound, and I made sure that the wood screws were tightened. Where does this sound come from? 2- My device is the F85, and I walk on it for a full hour between walking and running. Some of them told me that this burns the machine because the device cannot bear it, so what is correct?
  • Thank You for the videos, I’m learning the trade. Anything you post is a lot of help. 🙏🏻

I have an old pro-form crosswalk GTX with original belt, when I adjust the tension up front and rear roller tracking the belt runs well for maybe one use then it walks again next use. Roller bearings are good, does the belt need to be replaced? It does have some wear and superficial separation on the sides. It's very frustrating!
  • Hi, I have a question pls if u don’t mind, I REALLY REALLY NEED HELP PLS, I brought a treadmill about 4 years ago, it worked well & I only used it a handful of times like literally I more than 10 times, I ended up not using it anymore, so it’s been sitting for about 2 years now, I tried to go back to using it but when I plugged it up it made a beep sound & it just have a square on the screen & it wont do anything else other than that, I then realized the key (Magnet) was missing so I ordered a universal key (magnet) & I put that on but needless to say it’s still doing the exact same thing, also I’m trying to figure out what could be wrong with it & Do u think it’s worth fixing or should I just throw it away? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to continue to use it but I don’t know what to do to troubleshoot the problem, CAN U PLS PLS HELP ME PLS? I WOULD REALLY REALLY GREATLY APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH, Thanks in advance…. I didn’t realize how long this comment was, I do apologize for such lengthy message /comment,…. Again Thanks in advance for any help I can give me

Shouldn't the deck be checked @11:10 to make sure it's well lubed before putting the belt back on?
  • @cheskybaba4864
Why not spread the lubricant on the board before you put the belt on? You'd get a better even application.
