I know this song by Five Finger Death Punch means a lot to so many of you, including our veterans here at home. PTSD and other mental health disorders can absolutely be born from military conflicts, and you know how much I support getting help to those that need it. I am so grateful you all have pushed "Wrong Side Of Heaven" my way for so long. . . so much so, that I personally have donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and urge those of you that can support any veterans organizations in your country, please do so.

Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Five Finger Death Punch for the first time, performing "Wrong Side Of Heaven”.

I am a vet with 2 tours of Iraq. I nearly took my own life 2 years ago. I watched the original video on the night I planned to end it. This song saved my life. I watched it 3 times and reached out for help. The Veteran's Administration has helped me put my life back on track. I still can't watch this video without crying. I can say 5FDP has saved my life and I will be a fan for the rest of my life.

"You know me! You saved my life, brother!" That part never fails to get me.

These guys did a concert tour in Iraq and Afghanistan while I was deployed in 2009-2010 and I got to see them. It was just them and a couple hundred of us around a small stage. After, they shook hands and met with every one of us and talked to us like we were all just regular people seeing each other on the street. These guys are genuine.

As a USMC veteran I have lost more friends by their own hands than any other way. I tear up every time I watch this video. Can't help it. If anybody needs to talk, you can always reach out and I will listen. I am hear for you. Another great reaction. Thank you for what you do Elizabeth.

As a veteran with PTSD this one is hard to watch but I will be here for it.

At 22:34 he’s saying “you saved my life brother” after recognizing the man he served with. It’s isn’t just compassion and connect, it’s showing how different life after combat is for every vet. His reaction was hostility until he saw his brother in arms. This music video is so well done, it’s truly like a movie. It shows where all these men started and then life after war. So fucking cool.

I’m a veteran with PTSD and I cry every time I hear this song because it brings back memories that I hate reliving. You did a beautiful job breaking down this song. Thank you.

FFDP has a LOT of songs supporting veterans. "Got your six" "no one gets left behind" and "wrong side of heaven" all have heavy military undertones.
  • @DerHaf1982
You picked one HELL of a song to pick as your first FFDP song. This one is incredibly emotional
  • @jtough7499
As a Vet I can NEVER get through this song without tears. I work everyday to try to prevent Vet suicide.
  • @alphapockets
Every time i see someone react to this song, i have to watch. As a marine veteran, ive lost 3 of my good friends to ptsd, and have also been lucky enough to receive the call for help and be there. Thank you for watching it through.
  • I am a combat veteran ( Vietnam ) You can not possibly know the good you have just done. Thank you for this and God bless you
  • @terrydavis7389
i love the fact that you sat there in silence, watching and looking at all the organizations that offer help to vets, to me that is a HUGE sign of respect to them, thank you for that.
  • @BlueCurtainBurner
Love to see you dive into "Wash it All Away", "Gone Away", "I Apologize", "A Little Bit Off" and/or "Remember Everything". Deathpunch lyrics, vocals and music deserve the attention.
  • Omg I’m an Australian Veteran who invaded Iraq with America and your interpretation of the story is so amazing, thank you ma’am 🫡🇦🇺🇺🇸 I love watching your videos and breaking down the facts about your knowledge! I know you are a Opera singer but you have now become a true master of music 🎼 your face expressions are incredible especially with emotion in the song 🎧 I absolutely adore your work and you have made me smile and be proud instead of the inside battle that I’m going through! War is the most horrible thing ever, I lost my 12 year old daughter and 4 months later I was in Iraq with your country and you have a great understanding of how PTSD especially within a world of terror and violence the horror is to a civilian is truly a place that civilians think they know but they really don’t have the comprehension of what it’s really like 😢it’s truly heartbreaking 💔 and thank you for your support and words! Much love and appreciation from Australian Veterans 🫡🇦🇺🇺🇸💕

Navy veteran, no war time or boots on ground but it holds very close to my heart to help my veterans in any way I can. Having PTSD myself and suffering from depression I can honestly say I have been to the depths and contemplated my life more than once. My children kept me from stepping over that line! Bless you all who have served, including your families.
  • @liamgriffin218
Sadly that statistic at the end, about veteran suicide, has only increased since the release of the music video. it has gone from around 12 a day to 22 a day. To all the veterans out there thank you for your service, stay safe, and don't give in to the 22 a day. o7
  • @ckirkpatrick00
As a disabled vet who served in Iraq and Afghanistan this song makes me sob. This song is exactly how i feel.
  • @JoshRice-oj3os
To everyone who has served TURELY I SAY THANK YOU for your sacrifice. My brother was a 50 cal machine gunner in USMC, and he is my personal hero thanks to all of you.
  • @markheclim2741
As someone who has depression, FFDP's song "A Little Bit Off" means a lot to me and can help me explain what it is like to live with depression. FFDP also did a version of "Blue on Black" to benefit First Responders that is also well worth a listen.
