It always warms me to hear of someone who discontinued medications because they fixed their diet. Let food be your medicine.

Yep, I'm living a Keto lifestyle. My Doc freaked out because my cholesterol went sky high - I told em' to hold my beer. Not worried about it one bit.
  • Another astonishing video regarding the devastating lack of nutritional knowledge in the medical profession. Thank you Dr Mason.

Just imagine the harm these investigators have done by not publishing because they didn’t like the results. So I and many others have been right in refusing a statin to reduce our ‘worrying’ high LDL. How many are on a statin who don’t need to be?
  • I have been following the carnivore lifestyle for approx 3 years now and while my doctor doesn't like my LDL cholesterol results, I refuse to take a statin or change my diet. MY counter is the HDL / Trygliceride ratio, which he can't refute as high HDL and low tryglicerides have always been known as a marker of good health.

This is an important summary of the evidence. You are right to highlight Dr. Mason's analysis. Thanks.
  • I had a meeting a couple of days ago with 3 doctors and they all simultaneously acknowledged that ketogenic diets can help but were quick to say it was a serious quality of life impact and so they can't recommend it. They were quick to note there was no large medical study showing the benefits of a ketogenic diet. I responded that there will never be one because it will never be funded and at best you will only find anecdotal evidence. They got too uncomfortable and stopped that conversation.

My doctor recommended I try the Mediterranian diet, even as my A1c continued to creep upward toward diabetes. I tried it, tried Adkins, tried keto and ketovore. Only when I stopped taking my statin and embraced a carnivore diet, has it started to decline. Seems the industry standard, including the outdated ADA guidelines, is to have us eat the "standard American" diet, while assuring us there are meds to reverse the problem. So..keep taking the poison, and subscribe to the antidote? I choose to avoid all carbs, and never being on diabetic meds!

This is one of the most important videos I have seen. If not 'the'. Thanks again Doc.

Thank you so much for this video! I became diabetic after taking Prevastatin for 8 years. I did research months ago and told my doctor I want to wean off this prescription. Your wonderful informative video will go into my mental war chest when I come up against big pharma doctors who automatically prescribe pills for everything. They hand out statins like candy nowadays. I feel so much better since I stopped the statin about 6 months ago. Thank you again! ❀

I know that I should forward this to my former cardiologist, but be assured, she won't pay attention to it, so why should I.. She was the one who allowed my requested CAC test reluctantly. The score was bad: 312. Her first sentence after I walked into her office: "I want you on statins! "
