Shorty after they upgraded to a working shed fire since they were getting multiple calls. 4300 arrived and confirmed a working shed fire. The first due engine was 4201 and they pulled a 1 3/4 line off the truck and hit the fire. The fire was quickly knocked and overhaul was completed. Inside was an ice maker that had caught on fire. 4211 & 4305 sent threw crews forward to assist with the overhaul.

Today: Seabass Ling Flounder Sorry, no fresh fish left. All fried fish now.

That is why a garden hose attached to a faucet is a good idea to keep handy. The boss could have been in overhaul by the time the engine crew arrived.
-
simultaneous interior / exterior attack depending on how close one stands next to the shed. Bigger flames came out of my arse this morning
-
That’s got to be most likely the smallest structure the fire department there has ever put out a fire on!! Lol
-
Fire extinguisher wasn’t invented yet
-
The Chief could have had that completely knocked down with an extinguisher
-
That had to be the slowest burning fire ever! Made for a great "Probie" training class.
-
Why not just use the 1 inch hose reel for this job? Get water on it quick and easy to pack up.
-
So I guess the marina has no water hose and the fire chief could put it out with a 2.5 gallon water can and a 20 lbs ABC from the chiefs car? A 200 foot water line and not the bumper line?? LMAO
-
Watching the chief get dressed & watching the the hose come off in a knot was enough for me.Old trucks used to have a booster hose on the back.
-
Booster line would have taken care of that.
-
Come on down folks we are having a half off on our hot sheds, don't delay because you might get burnt lol
-
I hope everyone got out safely. This is so similar to a porta-potty fire a few years ago. Lucky all escaped with only minor burns.

I'm curious about a couple things 1. Why do so many department these days specs trucks without reel lines? They used to be almost standard equipment. 2. Why did they not used the ready line in the front bumper? Seems like it would be a lot easier to deploy and stow.

Good job Chief hitting it with the can. Pull the red line and it will be all done.
-
You were on the scene quick. 👍🏼
