  • To the FF: If you did your best with what you knew, good for you. But, go learn more for the next time and keep on learning. Never stop learning. Stay well and stay safe. May God bless each of you because you come when we are in time of dire need.

Big fire needs big water fast. That’s what deck guns are for. Knock down the bulk of the fire, then transition to hand lines. All they were doing was pissing on the bonfire. Let’s learn from this.

Looks like they had a lot of water pressure problems. Shame, just a shame to see such a nice house go up in flames like that.
  • I'll never buys a house with an attached garage unless it has a first-class firewall between it and the house.

Need to get water on fire quickly. Definitely need someone that can run a pump.
  • @cullen2106
Thank you for youre survice you guys and realy do mean that you guys.!'
  • I was a fireman for 15 years and an officer for 5. I would say pumper training is in order here. I don't know if these are volunteer departments or not it should not matter. As an officer if your men are having trouble getting water from your truck you need to take over and problem-solve

It appears that many of those hoses suffer from BPH

It is appreciated that there are some giving the knowledge of fighting fires from their computers 👍👍👍

Someone should make a bingo game for these videos of PA volley FFs. Some squares include uncharged lines, BCs on the hoseline, FFs in partial PPE, FFs without SCBA in smoke, dangerously overweight FFs, the list goes on and on.

This is a great type case for needing to use a deck gun. That might not have knocked down a fire this intense but it would have bought them TIME. Time they needed to deal with the water pressure issues, or get an alternate water source. Contrary to the old line from Backdraft, you can have a bad day on this job and nobody dies. It is hard on the properly, though. Learn, be glad nobody got hurt, and always try to do better next time!
  • @engine2truck6
Some of this hurt my eyes. At least they made an interior attack and vented
  • Hey, I’m not an expert but I think it’s best to put lots of water on a fire, it’ll go out much quicker!
  • A deck gun attack immediately followed by good water pressure would have made a huge difference
  • Great video. Thank you to all firefighters.😊 Prayers to the family 🙏
  • @jubelet
20 millions dollars worth of apparatus on the scene, and they can't even charge the damn line. Reminds me of Grants Pass FD in Oregon.
  • @j4y911
I bet the pickup truck is still on fire to this day.
  • @Bigbluehawk2
This video should be used for training. Just do the opposite of what these guys did and you’ll be right.
