  • Drunk driving, getting stopped and becoming abusive towards the police, behaving like a mad man in the holding cell. Not sure if that is the way to get out of trouble. Sound more like someone who feels very entitled.

I went to Thailand for an one month holiday in 2003 & stayed. One of thing that I noticed was almost all the trouble that farangs got into involved alcohol. Thus I decided that if I stayed in Thailand I wouldn’t drink. Best decision I ever made. 21 years now without a drink!

Two Kiwi brothers fought with a Thai cop & took his gun. Remember ??? They served ONLY 4 months and are now back home in NZ !!! WTF ???
  • So glad you kept this channel going Pete, you have never failed to bring us good content! I had a year ban for overstay but no jail, Thank God 😅

Less than 10 minutes in and already feeling like this guy knows full well he's flying a bit close to the sun 😂
  • We all have been young and dumb but he's paid the price, which no doubt has become a life lesson.
  • @HarborEdwin
I listened through, and this guy does have Empathy for those stuck in the IDC, I commend him for that : )

Wow. How to make the worst out of any situation. Go mad at cops, then go mad in prison. Gain: nothing. Probably time to stop drinking and driving and screaming at people.
  • For the people that is stuck in there you need to contact Thailand UNCHR to help them because they are stateless their country hasn't accepted them because no proof of who they are theres no passport to verify their country thats why they haven't been sent back.
  • Coming to Thailand to work but still behaving like a childish tourist...wrong country mate😂
  • @KJO6OWV
It’s sad to hear about the forgotten prisoners
  • I gotta say, you're a great interviewer. You don't let any bullshit slide without ever coming across as rude. Is very impressive.

Great interview, can we all arrange to help these people stuck behind bars. This guy did a great interview, part 2 yes. I admire this guys honestly and humility. Thanks Pete!!!!😊
  • Our detention centers in America are the Hyatt Regency compared to Thialand and Japan. Once in Japan I underwent a 2 hour interrogation with a Japanese investor so close to my face I felt his spital spraying on me. Then at the end he tells me, "You can leave now would you like a ride" I said no thank you I'll walk.

More importantly what happened to the beer in the back 😂
  • Wow Pete your interviews are so interesting. You need to do this full time in Ireland!
  • @aaronbux1
    Another great interview, Pete. Thanks!
  • This should be interesting, looking forward to it Pete. I haven't watched it yet but I'm hoping Josh is doing better these days.
