When I first started my music career, everyone thought I was from the Faroe Islands. All just because I put that as my hometown on my MySpace music page. Ever since then, I've wanted to go play shows there.

This song was made by a Faroese band called Frændur, written and composed in the 1980ies I think it was. It is very popular in the Faroe Islands. This is a new version arranged by Sigrid Sivertsen, sung by her choir Xperiment. The singer of Frændur who song this song is Steintór Rasmussen. You can see it / hear it in the Frændur version here on Youtube, if you search for "Lívsmynd", there is a video where they perform Lívsmynd at the Summerfestival in Klaksvík 2009
