The murder of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl, by the Israeli army, occurred on January 29, 2024 in the Gazan neighborhood of Tel al-Hawa. It took place in the context of palestinian's genocide by Israël. The little girl was then the only survivor of Israeli tank fire on the vehicle in which she had fled with six relatives.
Rajab's family was fleeing the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City when an Israeli army tank fired on their vehicle, killing Rajab's aunt, uncle and four cousins. The only other survivor, Rajab's 15-year-old cousin, called the Palestinian Red Crescent Society for urgent help in a recorded phone call, crying and screaming as Israeli forces were shooting at them at amid the sound of gunshots before stopping when she was killed.
Six-year-old Rajab was then the only survivor in the car, surrounded by the bodies of her family, and her three-hour emergency phone call with the Red Crescent was published, during which she told the operator: “I’m so scared, please come.” Come, take me. Please, will you come? ". Hind was killed by the Israeli army.
A Red Crescent ambulance was sent to rescue Rajab, who was attacked by Israeli forces, killing two Red Crescent rescuers, Yusuf Zeino and Ahmed al-Madhoun, in a deliberate attack according to the organization, and although Israel was informed of its sending1.
