Fantastic performance by the Mavs. Luka and Kyrie pushed the pace and made quick decisions with the ball, as opposed to playing strictly through Luka and Kyrie, and the role players benefited enormously from the quick pace. Defensively they were locked in from jump. Tonight the Mavs defense forced the Clippers role players to beat them. They didn't allow Harden and George to beat them. Their defense forced Harden and George to exert a lot of energy on offense for their points, as they repeatedly forced Paul George and James Harden to settle for contested jumpers. They didn't allow Harden and Paul George to beat them in the paint. They forced to play inside out. Great performance by the Mavs!
