I was not expecting so many people to see my previous video so I hope this final animation met the expectations for many of those people. There are a few things that I would have liked to change but I would have been nit picking this video forever if I didn't just post it. All the kind words are appreciated from the previous animation :)

Thank you all soo much for the support and constructive criticism. I am still in high school so I have to prioritise a lot of my schoolwork over working on side projects like this, there are so many things I would have liked to change or add to but I just needed to finish this otherwise I would be working on it forever. I absolutely will be taking some of your advice into account for the next thing I make and I do appreciate the feedback :)🪳🦟🐜🔫

I know a railcannon shot when I hear one

Dude, the cut from the diver looking up from the console in the ship to being on the planet is friggin cool. Nice work.
  • @ceballos-exe
that bile titan raise was fucking phenomenal holy shit

When he tossed the strategem beacon in his hand, all I could think of was Halo 2's first trailer where Cortana says "betcha can't stick it." and the Chief responds "you're on"
  • This is by far the best animated and best amalgamation of a helldivers live I have seen. Please give me more. This definitely took months of work. Your animations are top shelf and needs no polish. Your story telling without word is absolute perfection to anyone in the know. Thank you for this absolute gem of a small look into the helldivers life.
  • Mate, that transition from the ship to the bile titan was absolutely chilling. Incredible work here. Absolutely gorgeous.

This feels like a cinematic teaser shown at E3

I'd love to imagine a helldivers movie. That would be so sick.
  • The slow exposition, then sudden visual and audio transition at 0:58 immediately followed by the titan reveal is straight out of a hollywood movie holy crap, legit gave me chills

seeing an animation like this about surviving after the super destroyer leaves low orbit would be absolutely insane for a short film

That little critters movement at 1:13 deserves a whole single video. Incredible puppeteering.. the details with the wings and whena nd how they deploy and the sway of the little front arms after the landing, paired with the way it looks back up. Really impressive. kudos!

The way the sand shrouded the area around the bug breach as the Bile Titan emerged looked awesome! That'd be amazing to see in-game.
  • Man I just gotta say.. I'm absolutely blown away by the animation style of the little guys and the Bile Titan.. chefs kiss for the helldiver armor
  • Everything about the bile titan was phenomenal, especially the sound. It evokes genuine fear and awe whenever it's on screen, and the way you place the camera makes the helldiver seem small, yet strong. I wish I could say the rest stands up as well as this does, and while it's not bad, not by a long shot, the opening shots, the camera work, and the ungodly majesty of the bile titan set the bar really high, and some of the following shots just can't reach that level I feel. The priming of the stratagem ball is done very well, especially the subtle camera focus change to the bile titan's reaction, and the bugs' reactions thereafter. However once he pulls out the senator (excellent choice of sidearm btw) it feels like the weight of the animation is gone. The gun appears like a toy, like it has no weight, and the recoil impulse appears performative, and while I know it's difficult to convey character when the face is obscured, the character's movements seem robotic and unnatural. Overall, one of the best animations I've seen, and you're clearly incredibly talented, however the sequence from 1:33 to 1:48 just feels like you've compromised in places. I hope I've done the service of making my criticism constructive, and I can't wait to see what you do next!

That cut from in the ship to on the planet was amazing ! Love it great work
  • @Sterkson92
I love how its both proffessional in poses and camera work and comicly wacky in certain motions

When someone asks what playing Helldivers is like, I’m gonna show them this. Awesome job!
