i ABSOLUTELY agree with you there was no reason to add the vocal effect for the chorus, especially for just only ONE chorus?? why did they sing the rest normally and go through the trouble of putting an effect on just that? but the strings were beautiful, the guitar/ukulele was great, his normal voice was so good for a song like this im usually a big fan of all their music but having that one vocal effect took me out of it i'd be happy to see music video reactions, but only if you want to do them! They confirmed recently there would be a 13th track that comes out, along with a "Deluxe" version of the album, but no confirmed dates yet

As an AJR fan I’m glad he shares his honest opinion while not being extremely rude to the community! Why the voice drop? Why not. I think it fits in well with the mood of the song during the first chorus, and I know it’s an acoustic version but I think it’s still a great song, but that’s my taste in music and I’m glad he’s still being mostly respectful. And I still liked that Darth Vader joke

This song is like AJR we’re making a pizza and it was pretty good, but then the first chorus comes and they drop it on the floor. They try to keep going onward and keep it up but they still dropped it on the floor
