Glad you both enjoyed this album! I personally did enjoy it though I'd give it a 7/10, doesn't mean it's bad! I've just enjoyed other records from them more. I kinda expected a bit more though didn't mind what was given, I'm sure it will grow on me as time goes on! My least favorite track is Lavish as it doesn't click with me and can't catch my attention, though i've had a hard time saying what is my favorite track- I am surprised about the fact they made a music video for every song! I had to rank the albums to which one I love more then it would be: 1. Trench 2. Vessel 3. Scaled And Icy (Feel like I'll get hate for putting it as my third favorite and above Clancy, but I think it's overhated) 4. Clancy 5. Blurryface 6. Twenty One pilots (Self-Titled) Can't wait to see what they do next and I'll actually be getting to go see them at a concert later this year which will be my first time going to a concert ever!

What's INSANE is that Tyler revealed on the debut livestream last night that Routines in the Night might be his least favorite on the album and Josh had to fight hard to keep it on the record. BLESS YOU JOSH DUN!!

the album was mixed with a lot of genres, and that what makes me think it's an awesome album. people are mad that it's not Trench 2, but instead they see it as Blurryface 2... but in my opinion, Clancy is Clancy in it's own way, i love how each album they make would be different from eachother--- shows a lot of creativity that can be released from different albums.

Feel like this album is a good encapsulation of Clancy’s character. A bit all over the place and talks a lot of emotional triumphs but always seems to backslide into past struggles. A culmination of their entire discography.

Oh let's go! (You got me with Eric fakeout again) Also let's appreciate that you said how you weren't super obsessed with the lore by saying "I ain't looking for Clancy" only for twenty one pilots to drop an album called Clancy that barely has any lore in it 🤣 Also 28:12 was one of my favorite edits I've seen in a vid of yours that had me COOKED laughing How I interpret the album: Overcomp is also a fake-out of sorts. Tyler himself warns us by reusing the Bandito lyrics: "I created this world to feel some control. Destroy it if I want." He's not going to use the lore and backstory the fans have now grown to love in order to face his demons and problems, he's going to "destroy" the lore and throw it to the side so that he can take on his problems head on. Fun fact: Tyler said that he isn't as big a fan of Routines or Navigating, and it was Josh Dun who advocated for keeping them on the album 😭 So now we know which pilot has the better tast

Just started this but I’m predicting y’all to mess with Routines in the Night and Snap Back heavy!!! Let’s see! Edit: So nailed it. Also, so glad to see both of y’all react to them again. It truly wouldn’t be complete without Eric

I’m just saying, Oldies Station didn’t immediately hit me first listen but I did put it on late at night and it sounds immaculate in the car. Same with Routines. Also strongly agree on the Blurryface vibe! It feels like a mix of all of their albums in some way, though a lot of the tracks remind me more of it than Trench. Which uh…lore wise kinda makes sense. Re-confronting Blurryface at the end of Paladin Strait. Absolutely LOVED this album. I think it’s only a notch below Trench, but honestly, I think more songs off this album I can like as stand alone. Trench is such a cohesive piece with all of the songs together.
