I love Journey to the West and Sun Wukong is my favorite literary figure. While I’m not big into soulsborne games because I have disabilities that affect my hands but I’m still very intrigued by this. Just to clarify something. In the book it’s not that he has 72 different transformations. His power is called The 72 Transformations, which basically means he can turn into anything. Though he tends to still have his tail when he transforms. His traveling companions Pigsy and Sandy have The 36 Transformations and 18 Transformations respectively. So they can shapeshift as well but not as well as he can.

Fun fact: The game developer never said that this was a souls-like game. Instead, he said that the game is more like GOW. Most of the entire game has story performance as the core gameplay. The boss fight is only secondary. And most of the trailers are about boss fights sense because they think showing real action gameplay is more attractive and they don’t want to spoil the story

I really hope it has difficulty settings. People saying "If its hard is for hardcore gamers" at the end its just a damn game, meant to be enjoyable, not hard to play. Just my personal opinion.
